  • Cash-cow

Everything’s the same as iFacialMocap except you now buy or subscribe separately for each software you want to stream to. Paying to unlock all features is fine but the way it’s currently setup is insanely predatory.
  • April Update Broke it

App lags now. Some times even flips the face upsidedown. Phone is on a stable holder and nothing is getting on the way. Been using the app for about 2 years now and only had issues after streaming for over 2 or 3 hours but closing and reopening fixed it. Now, nothing stops it from lagging every few seconds and stop tracking for several more. In the worst cases, flips the tracking upside down just randomly

Not sure what the cause is, but try deleting the app and then reinstalling it. Appreciate your report.
  • Great for what it is

There really isn't anything else like it on the app store. Constantly being updated and improved. While it does suffer from temperature problems with prolonged use, that's just a side effect of having a camera active for so long. The low ratings aren't really deserved.
  • Doesn’t start up

I’m using an iPad Pro 6th gen and iPadOS 17.0, and it’s crashing as soon as I give it camera permissions. I’ve tried reinstalling it several times but no luck. Hopefully there’s a fix soon because this looks really cool.

    Developer Response

Prior to version 1.3.7, there was a problem with crashing at startup when the Apple keyboard folio was connected to an iPad Pro. Please check version 1.3.8 to 1.3.9 for a fix to that problem.
  • Horrible

Glitches and lags after prolonged use even with temperature control

    Developer Response

If you will be using the app for long periods of time, it is recommended to avoid charging with the Lightning cable, and automation with the shortcut app installed by default on the iPhone is recommended so that the iPhone can always be used in power saving mode.
  • A+

    Good for VTubers

    Thanks for the review!
  • Wasted money

Free app worked great but now that I’ve spent eight whole dollars, your whole rig is broken? So many people have been complaining that IFMC doesn’t work, especially with VBridger. Waste of money. I’m so upset I can’t even get a refund!!!!

    Developer Response

Have you tried closing the trial version of the app and then opening the paid app, opening the two apps at the same time may not work properly. Also, restarting the iPhone or reinstalling the app may solve the problem. If you are not satisfied with the app, a post-purchase refund can be made by following these steps https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084 I would like to know what community of people are saying that vbriger is not working well with iFacialMocap. It would be helpful if you could email me from the official iFacialMocap web site to detail the problem you are having.
  • Does not work on 6s

This app does not work on 6s even though I have the iOS update that is compatible, it does not track my face at all

    Developer Response

Unfortunately, this app will not work on the iPhone 6S. iPhoneX or later devices are required.
  • Doesn’t work.

I literally just downloaded tonight to use it and set it up and it completely doesn’t work. It shows that it connects to my gaming pc no problem but it won’t find my face. I wasted 6 bucks.

    Developer Response

If the blue bar in the iOS app is responding but Avatar is not working on your PC, the problem is most likely due to your PC's firewall settings. Otherwise, communication may be blocked by anti-virus software. If you would like to know the cause in detail, please contact me via email from the official website or from within the application.
  • Buggy but great for VTubing

Minor bugs here and there which usually get resolved by restarting app or reinstalling.

Otherwise it is an excellent program for VTuber facial mocap. I use it with Luppet and it’s very easy to link and set up.
