Leave a Review Puzzle Quest 3
A bug filled, haphazard game with no redeeming qualities
The Dev’s hook you, then get you to expend a lot of time and energy to gather your strengths and playing style, the “upgrade” the game without warning and leave you with worthless gear. Previously, before the spell book change, you could pick and choose what set of spells you wanted to work on, and upgrade those spells first. Gone with the update. Now you upgrade a “Book” at 1000x the previous cost and can only gather the required upgrade pieces randomly. Very randomly. Then along comes the gear “update”. No longer can you choose a specific piece to upgrade. It is all random. This game has turned itself into a roulette wheel. You can spin it, but you have no control over the outcome. Finally, you hard time and money turned gear got wiped out as the Dev’s, without warning but the again they care not for you, the quality of the gear gets re-done and you lose your entire playing power. Sending in support tickets just elicited a Dev’s ire, and responses that are uncaring. Just spare yourself, send them your money and do not play the game. That outcome will happen whether you play or not.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hello! Thank you for the updated feedback. Since 3.1.5 was released you can select which item you wish to upgrade, this includes upgrading the rarity, changing the element, swapping attributes from one item to another and increasing the quality score. The only random elements to upgrading are now rerolling attributes & crafting random items of gear. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to submit another ticket and we will escalate it to our Support lead.A big money pit.
All of a sudden all the previous poor reviews are gone, leaving you to think this is the best RPG game out there.
This game is completely changed. Those who started playing over 6 months ago have lost all their progress, and builds, and works, only to be replaced with a system that wants your hard earned dollars to get back to where you were before the big updates.
Progress is not a bad thing, but changing the entire system, without warning, and having you lose the builds your spent a lot of time and money to achieve, just is not fair.
Then again, fair was not in consideration when the Developers changed the system at your loss.
The play is mundane. The same theme rotates around again and again. Grinding to gain better equipment becomes monotenous and boring.
Then all kinds of special offers occur, all of which cost money, for you to improve your stats. Strange how that coincides with your suddenly needing the very thing to improve, suddenly appears with its pricey cost.
Spare yourself, keep your hard earned cash and look at current reviews, not the few posted by individuals that write glowing reviews for reasons that may not be in your best interest, but in theirs.Show lessAbysmal
I’m updating scathingly negative review in hopes of saving you from the aggravation I have suffered through. This game has self destructed. First, the devs took away your ability to choose and improve your spells. Instead, you get a spell “book” that you have to level up. At a horrific price of time, game resources and your cash. Next, the devs took away your ability to choose your armor, and improve the armor sets and pieces to suit your playing style. Now you have no control over your spells or armor, and improving either one is very hard, costs game resources, and again, cash. Then, out of nowhere and without notice, my gear composition got trashed. You could spend a lot of time and resources getting gear attributes fit to your playing style and manner. Bang, no warning, gone. What I have seen is a complete focus on getting your money and a complete lack of caring about you. So I’m leaving this game and strongly suggest you never start it. The devs care nothing for you, it is very evident this is a money hungry bunch.Show lessDeveloper Response
