Love
Love the station and all the personalities. They all have great vibes! I love the renovation as well! The only thing I wished was changed is the sound of the news station. It’s been that way for years. Would love to hear something new? I appreciate everyone of you❤️
Difficult to use.
This new site is difficult to navigate and to find areas that the old website had clearly labeled. I don’t like that it takes triple the time to find the areas and the “Topics” listing stinks. At this point I’ve started going to the other news websites rather than get so aggravated trying to find something or get to the news stories or possible delays. It is just my opinion, but I feel the design of this new website is poorly executed and not user friendly at all, especially if you’re a senior who is not using computers or mobile devices nonstop.

Awful
Terrible app. I switched over from the original app like I was supposed to, and now I’ve uninstalled it all completely. It’s difficult to navigate as the general set up is very poor, ads everywhere-EVERYWHERE-and if you want to just read a story but not watch it, you can’t get the video not to autoplay when you click on the story link, even though the no autoplay option is selected. If you do choose to watch a story, you have to sit and watch an ad BEFORE EVERY SINGLE STORY before you’re allowed to see it. This was the same on the old app, but I’m tired of it either way. Get the PA Homepage app. It’s much more comfortable to navigate, great information, you’re not forced to play the videos, and you don’t have to watch ads every time you click on something.

New WNEP App
I didn’t like the app at first, but, with using it more I am finding more options particularly with the weather section. I am still getting used to the app and liking it the more I use it. I like the one app verses two apps. However, I have an issue with my location button, it doesn’t let me display my location marker. I get a pop up banner that says turn on location services, which I have turned on. I don’t like that the Moosic location can not be deleted. Also, I get notifications other than the weather even though I just have the weather switch turn on. I’d give the app a 5 if these issues were resolved.

Too much clutter
In my opinion, this app is a giant leap backward from the old app. The “greeting” screen just isn’t necessary. The pages are very messy looking. You have to scroll far too much. I miss having an independent weather app as well. The new weather page is quite bad. Overall, I’d say this new app is a cluttered mess. It is a chore, and no longer a viable way to get NEPA news.

Bring back Stormtracker App
This app is beneficial for people who want to look actual news. I prefer just using the stormtracker app for the weather. This one is very hard to navigate for weather. I feel keeping the two separate was a good tactic. I am also getting notifications for news items that I don’t even want; even though I have my notifications turned off for the news portion..odd. Just not a fan of this app and prob going to delete it.

Just alright
I do not like this new version. I very much prefer the Stormtracker app, I am not looking for anything more then the weather and now it’s everything “news” you can find online. I wish they would keep the 2 apps seperate. I loved how I would get all the notifications for weather events near me, and it did that automatically I can’t even find how to make this new version do that. Not an upgrade in my opinion, just an overload

Zero improvement over old app
Everything about this app is worse than the previous iteration. It has less news stories and more ads. The color choice is odd eschewing the well known yellow and black of the logo. It is bland and disorganized.
I can only hope that this release was rushed and that they plan to make improvements quickly. As for the ads, I would be willing to pay a yearly fee for an ad-free experience IF they app improved at least 90%.

Will be OK when I get used to it, but...
Generally I like the new app and find it easy to navigate (and the live stream works so much better on our smart TV). However, the school closings section needs work. Many were listed as “early dismissal,” but no specific times given. I also liked the alternating grey and white backgrounds behind the school names - made it much easier to read.
I like the weather feature as it’s included in the new app. Very easy to set up location.

Not happy
I liked the other one better for the weather report all you had to do was click on it and the weather was there . Know you have to click on the bottom and scroll down to find the weather map
