Reviews of Val d'Isère Ski

Constantly Loses Track

Good potential for this app with some great features especially the bus tracker. The interactive map is ok. What really lets it down is the tracking function which constantly dries out or just turns off.

Very good map until it crashes

This has some amazing features, like live gps tracked buses and the interactive piste map. Unfortunately the app crashes regularly throughout the day while recording (/tracking). Sometimes this is a soft crash where it just loses gps connection for half a run and then recovers, even if it usually has no issues with gps on that piste. Other times this is a full app crash and nothing further is recorded until you force restart the app. Thankfully all skiing recorded before the app crashes is saved, but still it’s not really a good feature when it is so unreliable. The unpredictability is unfortunate. The direction of the pistes would also be very helpful for someone new to Val - it’s sometimes unclear whether a piste goes from lift A to lift B or vice versa. A small arrow would be enough. Merci
