But it doesn’t perform well most times the GPS on the buses doesn’t work or stops working in the middle of use.ablegram
Great concept, Needs improvement
It’s great that this app exists but it needs more improvement. The app on the iPad crashes when selecting websites. If I want to see schedules I should not be routed outside of the app. Schedules should be internal to the app. I’d like the option to customize bus route, stops, and times. For instance if I need the J bus on Sat at 6:45am heading south I should get a warning that the J bus doesn’t run at 6:45am on Sat. If I need the J bus on Friday I should be able to choose what times I need the J bus then get alerts based off of those times. If I need the bus at 1:45pm but the route schedule is 2:00pm then I should be able to choose the time that correlates best to my schedule. Like a trip planner only for the specific bus, bus route, and times I need the bus with alerts. Fares should be listed on the app as well as options to purchase passes.
FYI when selecting websites (on the iPhone) then schedules, the external page that I get routed to shows the J bus at the Stop & Shop at 6:45am however that was not the case today 05/25. Either the schedule needs to be updated or the alert system needs to be updated. When I checked the app prior to going to the bus stop at 6:30am there were no indications the J bus will not be running that early. Thanks to this negligence I lost a days worth of pay.Spawndriven

When it works…
This app is fine when it works. Sometimes you can’t even press the bus route without it closing you out of the app. As of a few minutes ago, the latest crash is not being able to switch the toggle on/off. Depending on your route, the drivers are sometimes also really delayed and intentionally turn the tracker off so it doesn’t appear on the map. In those events, I would suggest calling the transit hotline.iNash517
