Winky App becomes Winky Code! - A new design of the application, all new visuals and a simplified flow. - A new tutorial, more scripted, it features Oza and integrates the new application functionalities (such as the "game" mode). - "Adventures" game mode. Play as Oza and explore Biotopia with Winky to learn the basics of programming and robotics. - Redesign of the game library: It is now possible to see a preview of the program directly from the game library. You can save any program in Winky from the game library. Addition of the winky library which allows you to manage the programs recorded in Winky and which will be accessible in "game" mode. - A simplified connection to Winky. - The addition of English and German voices throughout the app. - Several bugs fixed and optimizations to make the use of the application even more fluid and pleasant. New Firmware V15 for Winky The new "game" mode - When Winky is disconnected from the tablet, just press the touch areas on the front and back of Winky's head at the same time to switch to "game" mode. - Up to 20 programs can be saved in Winky. You navigate between the programs by pressing right or left on Winky's head. Winky displays the number of the selected slot in his eyes. - Just keep pressed for 3 seconds on the rear touch zone to launch the program of the selected slot. - When a program is running, you can put Winky on standby or connect it to the tablet to stop the program.

Description of Winky Code

Winky and his ‘Winky Code’ application allow children to develop their skills in programming and robotics. They learn to code by accepting a number of challenges and can then play without a tablet. The sensors and effectors allow Winky to interact with the child and his surrounding environment. Thanks to the Adventures, children can learn programming at their own pace whilst discovering the world of Winky and his friends. Many games and puzzles await them! The numerous challenges included offer children concrete applications and varied games. The originality and diversity of activities encourages them to constantly want to progress with Winky. Updates are regularly added to expand the offer, for more and more content. The child can create an alarm clock, a movement detector, a stopwatch or a countdown timer, play the hot potato game or the egg race... He learns to observe, to evaluate distances and time but also to develop his reflexes in activities that stimulate his cognitive abilities. Thanks to the two levels of programming and the educational tutorial, learning is easy and adapted to all ages. Children learn robotics and programming terms thanks to the definitions in the Winkypedia. They can also discover Winky’s world through different modes. The robot and his best friend Oza live in a wonderful world with many endearing creatures.
