This Talkasoft app ensures that the Igbo culture and tradition is kept from generation to generation. The app teaches users how to read, write and pronounce Igbo Language. The app also teaches exact pronunciation of translated language by relating the translated data to the actual meaning of the English data e.g. “light” can mean illumination and can also mean a not too heavy load. The app teaches the end user how to pronounce accurately this type of translations and distinguish one similarly pronounced words from another. The app also uses English phrase translations to ensure accurate understanding of the Igbo language. The professional version enables users to update the translated data if they are using it to teach others as there are many ways to speak a language. It also enable users to create new data translations, record and play back or delete audio Igbo data, record and play back or delete dialog audio Igbo data. Dialog audio data helps to elaborate on the translated Igbo data and may be used to teach the user what to expect in reply to what they are saying to local speakers of the language. The Igbo translations are also aided by media display such as pictures or video information.
