OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:
PRIVATE TRANSPORT - PRIVATE TUK TUK:
TUK services some apartment buildings and condos in Bangkok. If you live at one of them, you can order your building’s private transport to pick you up in the same way as the public transport mentioned above. Open the app, tell them where to pick you up, and you’re done.
Please contact us at: bizdev@tukapp.co if you are interested in using this at your building.
FUN FACTS - SII LOR:
*Sii lor, silor, shilo, mini truck, local tuk tuk... they go by many names.
But don't confuse them with the tourist tuk tuk. Sii lors are what the real locals take.
They'll pick you up in your 'hood and take you where you need to go without breaking the bank!
TRIVIA:
1) Sii Lor literally means “four wheels” in Thai...
2) Tuk Tuks get their name from the sound their engines make...or used to make.
