Beginner here!
I purchased the app about a year ago but only recently begin testing it out. So far it seems relatively accurate based on my findings using the xrite color checker. I do however hope they add a green/magenta reading as well to fine tune this using LED with tint sliders.sykesboy4
Inconsistent
I’m a professional videographer and editor, I’ve been using this app for 3 weeks now. The color temp it displays is inconsistent. I’ll change the color temp on my bicolor light from 3200k to 5600k and it won’t change. When I move the phone and point it at something else then back to my white balance card it changes, usually to 4900k.
I was hoping to depend on this app to match temperatures on my lights (they don’t have displays), but I guess I’ll be guessing like I have been all along. I guess you get what you pay for.editboy23
