I am American that found hope In Bogotá Four years ago doing continuous PT with stage 4 AVN in four major Joints in-between my work schedule as a aviation commuter till today, things got difficult this time around in Bogotá and I’m sure one day things in Colombia will return to normal. I found hope in Bogotá keeping me off USA doctor recommended painkillers and from being disabled and able to work today. Things turned horrifying contacting COVID abroad right before and during the Colombian marches April-May2021 it somehow effected my eyesight “WHAT ON EARTH” I could barely see I would call it a nightmare during pure daylight for about 20 days in desperate need I found an app with friends through Google leading to DOC DOC and it’s bilingual customer service recommendation being introduced to trusting two doctors that had good English skills it made me feel calm, safe and protected. I listened, I learned and took the suggested medications around the clock through the video and their chat on demand app. I went from almost being or feeling blind to being able to return to the USA with my Vision back to normal. I was terrified to go to a Colombian hospital not being able to communicate in Spanish and for a medical mistake nightmare. DOC DOC gave me access to write my connected provider at anytime. Sometimes in life you wish to have a friend by your side at all times but how much better it is to have a doctor by your side especially when your not exactly in your home country they even helped me reach out to my work. I can’t thank this service enough. I hope it goes global because I’ve used other apps that are on demand even in the USA but this App is totally personable it’s beats the Icing on the Cake. For any American or any non-Colombian citizen traveling abroad in Colombia when experiencing a medical emergency download Doc Doc it will help you and guide you better than probably your own travel insurance purchase, its just my personal experience.
