  • Best habit app

I’ve tried a few and never been able to stick with them but this one is awesome!! I love the ability to connect with friends and send motivation
  • helpful!

love it! would be great if it could show a year overview of our habits! ie. % of times we did a habit throughout the whole year, and other periods of time
  • Overall LOVE IT

The only thing I would like to change is for there to be a way to make a group chat with the people in your shared habit. It could also be a bit more user friendly, figuring out simple things like how to delete a habit takes far too many steps.
  • Love it!

I love the satisfaction of filling my green squares, sending/receiving support from friends and the options in this app!
  • Not very intuitive

Frustrating as it’s not very intuitive and easy to use
  • New to this App but Pretty Cool so Far

I’m someone who’s noticeably inconsistent with life in general but I love competition. Hoping this helps for the rest of 2020 and onwards.

This has a really easy interface to update progress and encourage friends to keep the habit “streaks” up.

Would love to see this app add summary emails comparing habit progress among friends and just individually (kinda like Spotify sends a year end summary).

Also if this app was also integrated with other apps (screen time, strava, google sheets), that would be dope.

  • One of my essential apps

I love this app, It’s one of my essential everyday apps to make sure that all the tasks I have set for myself either daily or scheduled have been completed. It’s straight forward, easy to use and free! It’s made a difference in my life so I highly recommend this app for everyone from children to adults.

  • A unique habit tracker!

This app is so cool— I like that you can not only track habits but also do mini-courses, too. Lots of potential here!
  • Irritated in the first 5 minutes

Almost every part of the UI was counter-intuitive, annoying, or buggy. If this is a hobby-made app, good job on the effort of making the app (it’s extensive and fully built out), but if you want this app to be something useable, invest some time into learning user experience best practices.

A list of things off the top of my head that I didn’t like within the first few minutes:
    - Couldn’t find the add new task button easily
    - Add new task button disappears when you scroll down on first page
    - Having the journeys take up most of the first page is annoying
    - incessant prompts to invite others or to link to social media
    - starts out with preset habits
    - it’s too hard to delete habits
    - seriously, it’s like every button tap results in a prompt to invite people, each time that prompt comes up I want to invite people less and delete the app more
    - prompting user to take a note EVERY time they skipped a day is really annoying
    - buttons on the top right of the habit details page flip back-and-forth sporadically

The list goes on. Even just one of these would make me want to delete the app, but there are soo many issues.

It’s probably apparent that I’m annoyed, but hopefully this is useful to the devs.

    Developer Response

Still a WIP - but wanted to update as some fixes are already in (2 were in flight!) - Add a new task button does not disappear on scroll - Made easier to delete habits - Removed some of friend prompts - No more sporadic button flipping Original: Hello! I really appreciate you taking the time to lead such detailed feedback, it definitely helps us - and I'm sorry you had a poor experience! 1) I'm working on several of these things right now actually (new task button, flipping headers, removing invite prompts), and added several to my list. I'll follow up when these are done. 2) There are a lot of awesome habit apps on the App Store - and we're trying to add something new with journeys and groups/friends - so we definitely want to encourage those behaviors - but are still trying to find the right balance of how much to promote them. Thanks again for giving it a shot, and the detailed feedback! - Jake (jake@snaphabit.app)
  • Complete waste of time

After testing it for over a month, I haven’t accomplished a single thing. It’s just a waste of time.
