great app
this app is quite good but i had to do some troubleshooting when i first got it (anyone who had the same issue what worked for me is forgetting the tello wi-fi connection and on the app reconnecting to it )

One of the 3 best apps for a DJI/Ryze Tello out there.
I’ve had my Tello for a little over a year now and by itself it’s a pretty impressive little drone. I’d say the Tello is to mini drones what the DJI Spark is to the small drones. The Follow Me app completes the drone. It gives the operator the functions of a bigger, more expensive gps drone for a 1/3 off the price using the drones own VPS software and sensors to accomplish the same functions as a more expensive quad.
Understandably, this isn’t a Mavic Pro or an Autel Nano but a bird 1/4 of the price with really well written software.
If you buy a Tello, and I recommend everyone should have one in their drone hanger, then you need to download the Tello me app as well as the Tello FPV to turn this sleeper drone into a super star.
The Tello is always the first drone in the air wherever I go. Guaranteed in flight in under 30 seconds and barring any wind above 7-10 mph it’ll hold its own with the big boys drone toys costing much more.

Tried this app on a couple of devices after paying for it. Will not connect to my Tello.

Works just as well as expected. The track object could be a bit better, the app loses the object if the object moves too fast, but I don’t actually ever need to track an object. Also, the app could have some more instructions inbuilt. The track person works the best, and it has never lost me while I moved around. Overall, I think this app is amazing and it is totally worth the money.

Getting serious!
What a great app, my DJI Mavic Mini 2 doesn’t even have a follow mode! App is also getting better with every update. This app really unlocks the full potential of the Tello drone. Highly recommend.

Doesn't really work! Can actually be dangerous.
Tracking is very hit and miss. It can suddenly switch to another person - which it did in my case and flew at them like it was attacking, ran right for their face. Requesting a refund.
Impressive app with a potential feature oversight
This app is an achievement, if you have a mobile phone that is powerful enough to engage its tracking technology. The problem is that, for an app that is intended for video, it gives no means of accessing exposure controls or bitrate settings for the video it captures, and the default settings hamper the final results with compression artifacting out the wazoo. If these features were added, this would be a 5 star, must-have app. Until then, it’s a tepid 3 star review from me.
