Makes you hella productive!!
As soon as I put the phone down and start my lock session, my productivity dramatically sky rockets! No notifications from Facebook or Instagram and even if I open my phone I see no Facebook or instagram so just have to lock the phone again and do WHAT AM SUPPOSED TO DO!Qpo0

Praise and potential opportunities for improvement
Hey!
First and foremost, you guys have done a great job thus far. This app saved my semester on several occasions last semester when I needed to buckle down and type three research papers. It’s because of Flipd, I finished last semester confident in my work.
My personal qualm remains that the apps and notification settings reshuffle upon use. Which you are prudent for communicating with users. Hopefully Apple will allow a change to this as it would directly boost to the quality of the app.
I wish more would understand that app development, like every other developing good/skill, costs time and money.
However, the people have a point. If a subscription costs $30/year and avg US student loan debt is > $5000, many will struggle to finance the app. My experience in marketing tells me that a good approach would be offering discounts/incentives. This would grow the brand’s second branch, spread awareness, and create more traction in a market which you have control of at the moment.

I’ve used Flipd Before, I know how useful/good it can be - but so far it’s not the same as it once was.
Charging to use the full lock, okay fair enough (It is a bit pricey). And I can even accept the alphabetical order as I know it’s a limitation of working on iOS (it’s been like this for years they still haven’t worked out how to get round it)
But what I can’t accept is when the time is up, the apps don’t reappear. It’s happened on multiple occasions now - and the only solution is to uninstall the permissions and reinstall them every time you want to use the full lock, which quite frankly is just idiotic.
To pay £30 (year subscription) and for the basic feature to not work/stay working, it’s inexcusable. It worked before, why I can’t get it to work now is beyond me. And for some reason Safari is still available too, whereas on the old version it wasn’t. But to have to keep changing the permissions every time is just not on. Sort it outShow lessChopsewi
This app is really good BUT...
I use this app daily. I think that $30 per year is a good deal so I pay for the subscription. The only problem I have is this: I want there to be an option to disable the Settings app. The reason for that is that I can easily go into settings while my phone is on FocusLock and remove the MDM profile, and all my apps reappear, and my productivity is worse. I feel like that defeats the purpose of the app. But otherwise, it works super great and I think it’s worth the price.Show lessPretty girl12345 pretty

I loved the full lock feature in the old app. It really was a game changer for how I managed my time. I was so excited to see the feature brought back! However, I had to re-pay my premium account from the old app, and then I only got 5 free locks? What did I even pay for?
Plus the app is glitchy. No matter what I do I keep getting an error to even use the feature. Deleting today and hopefully someone comes out with a better product soon. Horrible company for making this move.Show lessMak S.
Screwed myself over
This app is a little too good at what it does. I have a hard time with self control so it was perfect for me. I downloaded it because I had a big presentation due but it wasn’t till after I restricted all my apps that I realized I wouldn’t be able to use my google slides. Now I can’t get in to undo the restrictions to use the app I need. It’d be nice if you could pick and choose which apps you want to close down instead of all or none.Show lesskaeleighv
Amazing app, however...
When I heard that Flipd was offering an app lock feature again, I was really happy because that was the main purpose I had for Flipd. I have no self control, so forcing myself out of my phone is my best option to get myself to work. Flipd’s option for this is probably the best out there, as there’s nothing sketchy about it and it’s made specifically for people who need to force themselves off their phone, while most apps like this are for parents restricting their child’s screen time.
Based off of my great past experiences with this feature, you can imagine my disappointment when I opened this app to find that I have to pay to have more than 4 locks. That defeats the entire purpose.. I’m in high school and therefore can’t pay for that. Now instead of locking my phone whenever I need to work or study, I have to be wise about when and why I use my phone locks, which just encourages me to be on my phone more!
I have to find a new app to lock my phone now. I’ve looked a lot of places in the past, but none are of the quality of Flipd. I highly recommend Flipd if you can afford the subscription, but otherwise it’s pretty much useless and not paying for the subscription defeats the point of the whole app.Show lessMadeleine Aline

This app is the best thing I’ve got in a long time to help me focus when studying, it’s well designed and super easy to use... it’s only a shame that once the lock is taken off all your apps are shuffled into random spots. It removes apps from folders and even “reseting to default home screen” makes your app layout a complete mess. If only they fixed that problem it’d be a 5 star appShow lessDaniel fsda
