Expected more walking routes

I was really excited to download this app as I love to take my dogs out for long walks, after downloading, I noticed that the map only showed a couple of walks in my area, I read on the description that to unlock more walks, I would need to pay a yearly subscription- which I then went onto pay. I have since been on to look at these extra walks and I’m no better off than before paying the £5.99, I can’t see any extra walks in my area. Thank goodness it’s only a small amount, I definitely will not be renewing my subscription next year.

I'm sorry this wasn't clear. The walks are colour coded so it shows which walks are available to try for free. The number of walks doesn't change when you pay the subscription it just means the maps and directions become available. I'll look into making this clearer.

Great app

Have done 2 of these walks now, both to break up a long journey and they have been just brilliant, both for us and our dog! We did the one near Huntingdon yesterday and one at Middleham in the Yorkshire Dales today and both were simply lovely. Good instructions and the map shows where you are even without a connection. Really looking forward to doing more on our way home. Thank you so much for introducing us to some beautiful places.

Great idea, little data input

The app itself is fab, clear - easy to use - quick to set up. BUT - there simply isn't enough data on the app to warrant using my storage space. The app tells me there is only 2 walks within 20+ miles of me & I live in the Hampshire country side... clearly not accurate. I'll re-download in a few months to see if there's any improvement

Please do re download in a month or so. We're about to add a whole load more walks for Hampshire so hopefully you'll feel there are more near you at that point.

Not great

Went on to find no dog walks around my area, when I know there definitely are many. Just wanted to see if there were any new ones I could try over this lockdown.

Sorry to hear you've been disappointed by the coverage. We are working really hard to get more walks uploaded.

There are so few walks on here

If the app were free (with adverts perhaps), more people might use it and they could add more walks. I wanted the app to find new walks but the 20 or so walks I do know of, aren’t even on here. Good idea for an app but the quantity of walks on here is terrible, especially as it’s not free.

Discover Fantastic Walks & Never get lost again!

Easy to use - clear instructions- a revelation!

I discovered this app when on holiday In a new area - and I had no idea where to walk the dog - other than the usual tourist trails and local parks. With the app we discovered wonderful new walking routes which we would never have found otherwise. I love that the map shows you where you are alongside the recommended route so you’ll never go far off course.

Great to have the written instructions as well so you know exactly where to head out from each turning . I have some of the books but the app tops them all! Thank you.

Great app - but why only England?

Brilliant app and easy to use.

Why are the choice of walks limited to just England? Wales and Scotland are dog friendly too!

The number of walks are quite few and far between once you zoom in to your local area, so it would be nice if there was a way for users could submit their own walks to the app for others to enjoy!

Hi - so pleased you like the app. We have thought about getting walkers to submit routes but we haven't finalised how we can do this technically yet. If you have any walks you'd like included then please do email me and I'll try and get them up. We're just in England at the moment but we still have loads of walks to add so hopefully we'll be able to include Wales and Scotland too soon. Hope you enjoy the walks.

Brilliant Idea

Tried it got the first time yesterday and found a brilliant dog walk. So good to have walks suitable for dogs with lots of off lead potential. Love the tracking and written notes. If it used OS maps it would be perfect! Can’t wait to try some more.

Black lab Ralph and I LOVED the two Sussex walks we went on - brilliant, easy-to-follow instructions and a chance to go off the beaten track with expert guidance. Can’t wait to try a few more.

Northeast or Scotland

Edited review. I’ve edited this as the developer has kept in touch and emailed me personally about the walks being updated which I feel needs to be recorded positively. So whilst there isn’t anything at all recorded for these areas at this point, I look forward to them being updated as the app otherwise seems to work well 😃

Hi. I'm sorry we haven't had a chance to get more walks on the app in the North East. We are working hard to get some on there and hopefully we will be ready to do an update of the app with some more walks in the next few weeks. Appreciate the edited review - thanks very much.
