Hello fellow disciples! We are please to take the next step down the path to make it a bit easier to connect with one another in your local church body. After joining your local church community, in Berean Journal, you may now "Add a thought" for your fellow disciples to see. Add a thought about the sermon, a reflection from your Bible study, a word of encouragement, a prayer request, and so forth. Look for more additions to Community in the near future.

Hello disciples! Berean Journal is all about helping you grow deeper in the knowledge of The Lord. We do this by getting tech out of your way so you can listen to sermons, follow along in the Bible, reference passages, and jot down insightful notes. This is good, very good, but we all know that a disciple can't go it alone. Duh! With this in mind, we are introducing a new experience in the app - Community. You saw that coming, didn't you? Community can be hard. We all have our busy lives. We hope to make it a bit easier to connect with one another in your local church body.

Reviews of Berean Journal

  • Great app.

I especially love how you can take notes.
  • Excellent App

I’m legally blind and this app allows me to cut and paste. I use it to take notes when Rabbi is teaching. Had there been a cost it would have worth it. Thanx. Shalom!
  • This is a great app!

This is a great app for sermon note taking! There are only 2 things that I wish it had. The first is the ability to download Bibles offline in case I am somewhere that doesn’t have internet. The second is the ability to export notes. I see there is a paid for version that allows cloud note storage, but I would prefer to export notes and store backups privately. The only other thing that would just make this is bees knees is the ability to assign a journal entry to a passage of Scripture. This would allow filtering and searching by passage. If these are available in the paid for version, I’ll be buying it immediately, but I couldn’t tell.
