Description of AeroCloud

We are delighted to present the first release of our Flight and Airport Terminal Information app. You can use the App to get information about your Flight, which gate it is leaving from, is it on time and so on. You can track flights and have the app automatically notify you of changes as they happen to your chosen flights. We have also provided information about the Airport on items such as Food Outlets, Parking, Shopping and much more. Note this is only enabled for Airports that have enrolled with us. For Airports that are not enrolled then we just show their Flight Information and allow you to track it.

  • Before you write a bad review…..

AeroCloud is the company that makes the “eDesktop Common Use Passenger Processing System”. Basically, the software that the ticketing and gate agents use at the airport.

AeroCloud originally created the mobile app for use by the personnel operating the various airlines at select airports. Everyone from the ticketing agents to the ramp crews loading your baggage. The app wasn’t originally intended for passenger use, at least in the test phases.

But now, airports have been advertising the app for use by passengers as a mobile “flight board”. And it’s been very stable so far.

So with that background info in mind, take note that it is still a relatively new platform. But it works very well, and is very accurate, because it is connected to the same servers as what you see at the airport.

You are getting the exact same information as the airlines are, without any 3rd party data sharing. It’s about as accurate as it gets.

  • Inoperable

App is clearly not or no longer working. Even if it was it would be of limited use. It only includes 14 airports some of which are really small ones like Pensacola, Sarasota, and Des Moines.
