Since Live Alarm is designed as a first responder app, it addresses a wide range of different applications, including use as a patrol app, and a search and rescue app. Live Alarm needs background location permission so it can provide accurate geolocation to first responders during urgent or emergency situations. Background location updates may be turned off in the application’s main menu based on user need. Why should I care about Live Alarm? Coordinate and maintain situational awareness through a live, editable map. This lets you increase safety, reduce risk, and even save lives.
