This update brings a redesign of the main display of your past and future run events. The interface now showcases a clean design emphasizing what type of runs you have done. On watchOS you’ll find a new interface as well, supporting watchOS 10 design features. We’ve added a paywall to the app to support ongoing development. After saving 2 run events, adding a 3rd will require upgrading to Premium. This is a one-time fee and not a subscription. All other features of Run Roster are still free and accessible without an upgrade. A lot of work has been done behind the scenes as well to update and streamline code to current standards.

Description of Training plans by Run Roster

Run Roster is your path to achieve your running goals for any upcoming 5k, 10k, 1/2 or Full Marathon races. If you have registered for a race in the future, or just want to train for your first 5k on any date from home, Run Roster will keep you motivated and on track. With Run Roster you can; - Record all your past and future running events - Monitor progress and stay accountable by keeping up with the provided training plan - Record your finish time when you complete a race, then look back and set a new goal for your next run - Keep a finish line photo to remember race day - Add the Run Roster Widget to your home screen and lock screen to display the current training run for each day With Run Roster for Apple Watch you'll see all your runs right on your wrist. - Races and training progress will sync between iPhone and Apple Watch through iCloud - Run Roster complications provide quick access right on your watch face - Almost anything you can do on Run Roster for iOS can be done right on your wrist. * photos do not sync * run events created on Apple Watch will default to the current date, date can then be edited on iPhone. Run Roster requests permission to access Apple Health data. This allows the app to track your heart rate and activity calories, which will update your activity rings. The app also requests motion data and location information to measure and display running route and pace data. All data is measured and stored on device and is not shared with the developer in any way. If you've read this far thank you for your interest in Run Roster. I am an independent iOS developer and welcome any and all feedback as to how you're using Run Roster. Privacy Policy and Terms of Use: https://impulsecoupled.com/privacy-policy As of version 2.0 Run Roster now offers Annual or Monthly subscriptions to unlock the ability to view current weather and 5-day forecast for your local area. If you choose to buy an Apple Weather subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. • Really cool app

I love the design and consistency of the iOS app. The watchOS app is packed with rich features that are intuitive for new users.

    Developer Response

Thank you so much for the positive feedback! This app has been a long time coming and I have a lot of improvements and features I want to add. Your review really helps. Thank you again, Dan
  • Can only get 5k training plan

I love the idea of this app. I’ve been trying to find one that allows training plans and syncs with Apple Watch. However I only seem to get a populated training plan for 5k, even if my race is 10k or half marathon. There’s also no way to manually change the training plan (eg. Change a run to 3m instead of 2m).

    Developer Response

[EDIT] The issue of only populating a 5k training plan has been resolved. Thank you for your feedback. First off thank you for taking the time to write a review for Run Roster. The persistent 5k training plan is an old bug I have not seen surface in a long time and I am sorry you encountered it. Ensure you have tapped the “Make Active” button in the upper right when viewing your run, then force-quit the app and relaunch. I am the first to admit you should not have to do that, but that should clear the bug and give you the desired training plan. As for manually changing a run in the training plan, that is a feature I had not thought of and I will work on implementing it! I am happy to issue a refund for the app if you desire while I work on improving Run Roster. Thank you again for taking the time to write a review. I vow to get that bug fixed for the training plan! -Dan
