I got the App and upgraded to get all the features and am somewhat disappointed. While this is for the “fundamentals” I would have thought that there would be some basic conversational content. Also it would be good to rearrange the days of the week, seasons, and the months in their respective orders rather than alphabetically. I do like that you can see the differences in words between the provinces. My family comes from both the Trapani and Palermo provinces.Show lessSiculopazzo
Sound doesn’t work
The sound features don’t work on the app, so you can’t hear how any of the words sound. Pretty useless right now.Yaargh?!?

I have received emails from users with the same 'audio' issue as yours and the solution was quite simple: Make sure your SILENT button is off and your VOLUME is UP. I have received replies from all users and this was indeed the problem. So please check these issues as there are no issues with sound within the app. If you have any further issues, please contact us at admin@learnsicilian.com. NOTICE: MUST TURN OFF DARK MODE. Everything was blank with dark mode after purchase. Once I put it on normal light mode everything appeared!

Incompetently done! Don’t buy!
I want my money back. I just spent $4.99 to upgrade. Nothing shows up on any of the sections
App seems to want me to perhaps energetic whatever wordsI want to know. It does not matter what portion of screens I go to nothing there! This is not how a language learning app is supposed to work!!! Complete technical incompetence. Apple will not refund my money unless app maker does this so beware and DO NOT upgrade!! It pains me to leave this review as I am Sicilian and looked forward to going thru this app! It makes the Sicilians look incompetent as well when they cannot write a simple app! As you will not provide a refund, I will let everyone I know about this app and the problems with it. I am Sicilian and have a large social network of other Sicilians/Americans who would have also enjoyed this appShow lessAn nod

Ok. Our team at Learn Sicilian is very dissapointed and offended with your review for a number of reasons: 1. We know that you're apart of another Sicilian language organization and we suspect that you're doing all you can to belittle our group and spread rumours and propaganda for your own benefits and interests. The team at Learn Sicilian has worked hard together to build an app from scratch and include thousands of words, phrases and verbs in various dialects with audio for people wanting to learn the language of their origins or for personal interest. It "pains us" to read this review from such an incompetent person who DOES NOT appreciate the effort put into this app! 2. The solution to the issue you were "experiencing" was a simple fix on your device - at the time it wasn't compatible with DARK MODE and a simple swipe on your iphone would have fixed it. - Now our updated release currently is compatible so the app will work fine regardless of LIGHT or DARK mode being activated. 3. If you want a refund, you're more than welcome to contact us and we'll be happy to give you a refund.Review
So accidently clucked on stars to write review but heres my piece i downloded app nothing popped up after vlicking on the palermo region so i bout the payment plan and still nothing doesnt seem to be worki g on my phone would be willing to edit review and rating when corrections are mademikeike71

Hi Mike, Thank you for your review. The first release was not compatible with DARK MODE as it is a relatively new feature across many devices. The solution was to switch your device from DARK MODE to LIGHT MODE and everything would have appeared. Since the first release, we have updated our app which is now compatible with both DARK and LIGHT mode.
