You can now display additional version information and further details about the app on the info screen. Please also note the innovations in the last update: In this version, suggestions from practice have been implemented: If you hold your finger on a point on the map longer, all available information is displayed at the corresponding coordinate. It is therefore no longer necessary to activate the info mode in the menu. The type of forest ownership is automatically determined when damage is reported. The department numbers can optionally be displayed on the map. The operating card is now displayed at a lower zoom level. The GPS accuracy can now be set (scroll down in the map settings). The password query when starting the app is now automatically deactivated after initialization.

Description of Schadensmeldungen online

The "Schadensmeldungen mobile" app is an addition to the forest protection reporting portal provided by the Northwest German Forest Research Station (https://www.nw-fva.de). The portal is used to record damage to forest stands, monitor the most important pests and document crop protection applications. With this app, users registered in the forest protection reporting portal can record damage directly in the forest - even without a network connection. The app is initialized with the account for the forest protection reporting portal. This requires network access. During initialization, maps and other required data are loaded onto your device. Afterwards, damage can be recorded offline directly in the forest. If a network connection is available, the messages stored on the end device can be transferred to the portal or shared by email with an automatically added KML geodata record. For example, Entrepreneurs are provided with precise work orders immediately after the damage has been recorded.
