This is the real deal.
If your not ready, you will not do well here. It’s best that you know this from the start.
I acknowledged God when he made himself known to me in a church in Batavia Illinois when I was about eighteen years old.
Since then I lived a life in and out the shadows dipping and dodging God trying to find a way to live in sin and to worship God at the same time. It doesn’t work.
I am grateful first and foremost to God and also for the leadership he has put in place and for the congregation that is obedient to the Word of God there.
Together they have not allowed me to slip through the cracks but have held me accountable for my actions. Like a truly loving family is supposed to do. They have held the standard that God has set for true worship.
This is a no nonsense church that will boldly declare the Word of God without shame.
Are they a perfect church? No. What man has ever lived perfectly besides Jesus Christ himself. Grace and mercy are a beautiful thing.
Moreover I can say this, they are a responsible and accountable to each other and most importantly God.
Psalm 34:6 This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
With love
and gratitude
sincerely,
