In this update we've overhauled the video player for you: - Completely new design - When you open the video player you'll see the playlists at first. - Little exception: If your open the video player for a course for the first time, the trailer is shown (if there's any). - The video player looks so much slicker now. - Now it's possible to download videos - That means you can watch your videos offline. - Every video has a small 'download' icon. - You can even download all videos of a playlist at once. - If you open another app, the downloads continue in the background. - Warning: If you close the IU Learn app completely, the downloads will stop. - You can cancel a download anytime. - Current video indicator - A blue ribbon shows the current video in a playlist. - New accessibility features - Subtitles are now available. - You can adjust the play rate in the video player with iOS 16. - You find these options directly in the video player via the three dots at the bottem right. Note: We will drop iOS 14 support with the next release. In all cases it's possible - and recommended - to update the operating system and install iOS 16.
