Annoying click noice

An annoying clicking sound, absolutely useless. The developer does not respond.

Ok

I like the ability to add picture but I wish I also was able to upload older ones. There is no option to have notes only attributed to a picture at a time. Overall it is a nice start, I hope the app gets more features with time.

Does what it says on the tin.

Good little app. As someone who takes detailed notes in the field, I am always on the look out for tools to make my life a little easier.

Only two criticisms that would be nice to see addressed.

The actual text box is a little small when you start writing your notes. A little frustrating to scroll back and forth to check what you have written. Additionally, the sample text needs to be manually deleted. When you click in the box, it would be handy if you could just start typing.

Secondly, there are no settings I could find. Having the clunky noise each time I moved section is irritating, and if you are trying to take notes quietly, it’s a little inconspicuous. Would be good to be able to turn sounds off.

Not the best app I have used. Not the worst either. Ability to email myself is great. Lack of customisation options isn’t. Being able to go back and look at the map easily for each note, great. Presentation, fun not functional.

For such a small price, worth testing to see if it does what you need.

Not what I wanted

Most of the features worked great with no glitches or bugs. However, the geotagging doesn’t work and everything shows up as 0. I’ve double checked my settings to no avail. I also don’t like how you can’t upload a previously taken photo. I downloaded this app to organize my ecology notes before transferring them to paper but it was a complete disappointment.

Excellent app for field geology

Simple way to record information based upon locality. Ability to add photo and bring up a map really gives you everything you need. Email note with all info to myself to move things to a database. Very easy way to record field notes any time.
