USEFUL FOR EVERYONE
I really feel like I’m making an impact on this app. Great way to interact with people and strangers in civil/intellectual discussion, big contrast to the argumentative/provocative comments we see in other social media comments. love the nonprofit organizations that this app features - you can tell that they are really well researched. Humbling
Never before have I felt humbled every time I opened an app. Every time I open REM, I am challenged. There are too many people to help and injustices to be solved for me to ignore and swipe to another app.
REM is a good place to start giving and helping as a habit, instead of a one-time thing. And you’ll be making undeniably real positive change - you won’t find any bad or wasteful charities on REM. You don’t even have to donate; every like, comment, and post raises money.
This world is more than just me, my family, my social circle, and even America. If you want to do more with your life than just making money and friends, find your cause. You’d be surprised at how much of an impact YOU can really make.Show lesssamuelllk
Rem is a must-have!!!
I have been using this app for a few weeks and it has made my life so much easier. I used to try to sort through the massive clutter of charities online to find great causes to donate to, but Rem has completely removed that painstaking process for me by recommending hand-picked, cost-effective, and impactful organizations to give to, all sorted by mission.
They also recently launched a community feature that is bustling with daily discussions and material on topics that users find meaningful to them. I've been participating and meeting new people virtually every day!

Making a difference
I’ve been using this app quite actively for a period of weeks now and I have to say that the overall experience of the app along with its impact-driven focus fulfilled something that I have not experienced on other social media platforms. As someone who is at most a passive consumer of social media, I found REM’s content very engaging. Seeing different posts from many people and seeing the issues others care about was eye-opening to me. I started using it along with a group of friends and sharing issues we each cared about through REM really added to the experience. I also liked how there are many charities listed and described in detail on the app so if I want to donate I know my donation is going to a good cause and is only being used for that purpose.
