Great Memories, 57 years and counting.
Love the original store, been coming here for 57 years, my Grandfather lived on Gallagher street. Didn’t know the location had a bar until I was in my twenties and had already moved to Texas. Grandpa always had me sit by the front door, I was around 7 years old. I now now know he was having him a beer or two. Great pizza and staff. Anytime were in town visiting my wife and I have to stop. Buddy! Doh!
Love this place and my reviews are about everything about the experience and the specific evening, not my overall love of the place.
We ordered the Conant eight piece, minestrone soup, and Buddy Bread…
-Minestrone soup was TASTY!!!!
-Conant was SUPERB!!!!
-Buddy Bread was, well, less than spectacular, by a long shot…
Doughy is the best word to describe it; sent it back and unfortunately we never did get any more because apparently the humidity was wreaking havoc, and the dough wasn’t rising :-(

So, one star off this time… There was another time I would have also given Buddy’s a 4 Star, when the pizza I ordered was not the pizza I got, but that is in another post…
Almost always get the fixed item, but today, unfortunately, the rest of the batch was affected, so they could not make any more for us.Show lessclimbmaniac

The app is indispensable in that it is the only way you can amass Buddy’s rewards. Free Buddy’s pizza anyone? YES, PLEASE!
The app also makes it a breeze to order carry out for any time,l, allowing you to set your pickup time in the app!
There’s always a “but”, though. In this case, it’s with the app’s inbox function. When dismissing a notification in the inbox, you have to confirm via a popup. If you’re like me, and allow the notifications to build up, this is a major and unnecessary PITA I wish the developers would eliminate…Show lessBobcatALR

We ordered two 4 slices, a Hawaiian and The Greek Town. My GreekTown which is my favorite came out over cooked, and an abundance of spinach very crispy , very little Feta and was very tasteless and bland. It certainly tasted like something had been missed in the preparation of it. I ended up sending it back and having nothing. My husband enjoyed his selection. I hope it was just a fluke but now I’m hungry 😩Show lessDMBAuthentic
