Good, but can be better
I am a subscriber of disc golf network. I watch almost all the fpo ans mpo coverage both silver and elite series. The coverage has gotten better and better every year and of course there is room for improvement. One thing I really want dgn to have is a scroll bar on the live feed. A lot of time, especially on Fridays and Thursdays for four round events I am unable to watch all of four hours, so I would love to speed things up. And when you have scroll bar, it helps to skip things like tap ins, walk from a basket to the next tee, or chase card coverage I am not interested, or sometime I would just want to see only my favorite players because they are playing good. Please enable the scroll bar in the live stream, so I can enjoy the full coverage even if I am one hour late to the coverage and for the reasons I mentioned above.Show lessDisc daddy
Helped with my game so much
Been an average Disc Golf, not an avid fan, never really watched the pros. have played ever since high school so over 14 years. as soon as I got the DiscGolfNetwork, my enjoyment, passion, and my own play have all increaseed by watching the professionals go out, the commentaries on how they break down the courses and how to look at lines it’s an enjoyment and I never knew I’d be spending whole weekends, over nine hours watching. Love DGN but…
Great coverage and you can tell a ton of work goes into making it a great experience for the viewers. Love the drone shots too! That being said, what about those who can’t view it but still want to listen in? The commentary is designed for those who are watching. For example, while putting or a long drive there is silence. A little more play by play would be a great addition. Then when we are driving or at work and can’t watch we can still know what’s going on and be in the action. Additionally, just think how nice it would be for the visually impaired too. To hear how a disc soars through the air flexing and turning, air bouncing, then landing on a shallow approach skipping and sliding up to the basket. Exciting stuff! Needs work on UE/UI
Watching live events is great, here is the problem, I’m not that plugged into disc golf and this App does a terrible job of navigating their UI.
I hate to be overly critical since this sport is growing, but the people behind the app are clearly lacking someone who understands good UI.
Issue:
1. No clear schedule of upcoming events for 2023. How do I know what day to watch if it’s not clearly stated in an app whose main purpose is to provide live disc golf coverage. There should be an easy way within the app for me to know hey what’s the schedule look like for the year.
2. UI for content is terrible, a)There is no synopsis for the content they provide so I have no clue what most of the vids they share are about unless I decide to watch the intro. B) there should be drop down menu option somewhere for easier navigation. Right now it’s searching if I know what I’m looking for or scrolling through the app until I find something that seems interesting. Then I need to watch the intro to even see if I’d enjoy it going back to point A.Show lessGalapagos81

Two live tournaments this season. Two complete crashes on the final hol
Both tournaments so far this season, close to 24 hours of MPO coverage. I’ve watched it all live.
Except the final hole on both tournaments. Because the stream crashed.
Search on the Reddit disc golf sub, it’s happening for lots of people.
How can my subscription cost be justified when I invest 7 nights of my life only to miss the winning/final moment? Even though the result is spoiled when it finally comes back, I’d like to rewind to see what actually happened, I can’t!Show lessTidgeyWidge
Content Mislabeled
If you select the section labeled “The 2023 Season is underway!” It actually has NO content for 2023. I’m new to the sport and excited about watching this year’s content- I don’t know anything about the names of the tournaments and when they’re supposed to take place, so I thought I could check the 2023 section… but, that’s a no-go. 🤷🏼♂️Show lessdjkechnie
