Description of Watchtimes

The essential companion app for all watch enthusiasts! Watchtimes is the best and simplest app for tracking the accuracy of a mechanical wristwatch. Is your watch accurate? Does it need to be serviced? How do your watches stack up against each other? Find out by measuring and tracking the accuracy of your watches! With a tap of a button when the time on your watch matches that of the time in the app, Watchtimes will automatically calculate the performance of your timepiece. It does this by comparing with the atomic clock time, measures and records the difference, and conveniently tracks all this data in a quick, easy to consume manner. - Track unlimited watches to include your full collection - Include notes for each measurement and data point - Keep track and filter by your watch resting position - View the average +/- seconds per day per watch - Graphs to show the SPD and offset rates of each watch over time - Built in atomic clock to help set the time on your watch - Support for Dark Mode

  • nice app. doesn’t work

i bought this app to measure how fast or slow my watch is. my first measurement was 13 seconds fast vs the atomic clock. my second measurement, 2 days later, was 20 seconds fast vs the atomic clock. by my estimate, +7s over 2 days means my watch gains 3.5s/day on average. the app, somehow, calculated that my watch is gaining 11s/day. i really can’t understand what happened here. my watch doesn’t have a hacking second, maybe that’s causing the problem? does the app not know how to deal with an initial measurement that’s not exactly accurate? very strange. a 5$ app failing at its only job is pretty unacceptable.
  • Pretty nice

The sync button could be made a bit bigger for easier use while looking at your watch.
And the launch screen should match the theme, light or dark. Currently it is always light even in dark mode.
