Reviews of Westside Market NYC

  • Kills your battery

This app absolutely demolishes your battery. If I walk in the store to start shopping and my battery is at 60%, even 10 minutes later when it is time to check out my battery will be at 8%. This is definitely an issue with the battery, not my phone as I do not have this issue with any other application
  • Flaky. It works but a real cashier is faster

-camera freezes requiring you to go back and reload to scan another barcode. I had to do this like 5 times on my trip.

-stores have cell dead zones, service needs to be flawless if you want to get customers onto the app.

-checkout procedure is confusing. Can we shop directly into our own bags? If yes the in store signage should promote that. I assumed no, so when I was done I had to take up space at the registers to unload my cart into my bag. A cashier would have been faster.

This app has potential to be good but it needs work to make it actually more convenient than the existing ways.
