Description of Aria Patient

The Aria mobile app aims to transform the patient experience of healthcare by leveraging the unique benefits of blockchain to empower patients to have access to understandable, engaging and complete medical records. Patients connect directly with their medical provider (via an API) and all their records are sent to their app, making it their on-the-go digital home for their medical records. All records are stored on blockchain with the patient having complete control over who can access their medical records, ensuring total security and privacy. Patients can then share records with a doctor in a touch of a button; access simple tools to better understand their health; and know where their private health information is at any time. Features include: • All Records in One Place Patients connect with their medical provider and immediately retrieve all their medical records. • Blockchain Record Storage All records are stored on a blockchain ensuring the records are stored securely and allowing only the patient to have access to them unless they give express permission to others to access. • Share Records with Doctors Patients can share one, some or all of their records easily via the app or allow their doctor to receive their records as soon as they’re ready. • Record Access Management Patients can see who has access to their records at any given time and choose to revoke or limit access to some or all records. • Traffic Light System for Clinical Lab Results Through a ‘traffic light’ system on test results patients and doctors can easily spot if they have a result that requires taking an action. In range results are shown in green, out of range results are shown in orange and critically out of range results are shown in red. At this stage the app will only be connecting with the American Medical Center in Nicosia (Cyprus) for the retrieval of Clinical Laboratory Results.
