First off, my Orba has been updated to the most up to date firmware. That being said, the app makes the Orba freeze. Not much else to say other than, this whole Orba ordeal has been just another headache for 2020. Pretty sad.
Not meeting my expectations by a long way
Doesn’t stay connected, updating sounds is a mission and removes the fun and time from being creative.
Totally missing the mark based on connectivity promises.
Rebooting the app regains temporary Bluetooth connections for maybe 1 or 2 preset uploads, then need rebooting again. Mode is not following app or Orba on the other device.

Would love to say 5star but..
Got the Orba love it. Downloaded the app, needs firmware update OK let’s do it, nope need laptop or desktop - but I haven’t got IPad Pros x 2 (lightning and USB c) nope no good .... iPhone XS ? Nope
So an app that’s doesn’t work, and an Orba that’s limited and not updatable :(

Everything is there...
Everything you need is there but it would be great to have all the settings available from one page, independent of song settings. Unless I'm missing something, if you want to change the scale settings you have to save/load a song with that scale setting. It'd be great to have just a page of settings for when you want to use it as a midi controller so you can change settings without having to load/save a song. The device itself is great, super responsive and pretty darn intuitive once you learn a few simple gestures. I hope the drum and synth presets keep coming or the synth engine is opened up so we can create our own. As long as we get regular updates this piece of kit is totally worth the price. Great job Artiphon!

The Bluetooth compatibility issue has been resolved in iOS 14.3. Please update your iOS in Settings>General>Software Update.
Close but not great yet
The tool is great but to be more than a toy they need to hoan in on the looping. Timing has to be perfect to get a good loop and it doesn't even feel like it loops on 1. You have to time it to the 4th beat of whatever you're doing.
Also the app times out often when trying to upload new sounds.

Not ready for prime time
When using the computer app with a connecting cable, everything works fine. When using the phone app with Bluetooth, nothing works. It loses connection, you can’t load sounds. Just not worth the bother.
Really jerky videos
We are suffering from really jerky/unwatchable/unlearnable videos on the app using both iPhone and iPad Pro at present.
updating Orba
This is gonna be a short one which is I’d love to update my Orba using my iPad Pro 12.9 or iPhone 11 Pro Max without having to do it on a Mac laptop or iMac and I should be punished by not being able use the app cause of it also a really bad decision you’ve mad artiphon
