  • Clunky and no live TV

I don’t know what else to say. At best, the PGA app is a fancy leaderboard without any live stream options, yet they want to know your location, track your usage and have access to multiple functions of your device. The PGA needs to learn something from The Masters instead of trying to have their fans spend more money to access the tournament via ESPN+. Very disappointing!

  • App working great but falls a little short

I am a huge fan of PGA Tourcast and the interactive ability it has for play by play. I am really missing that during this tournament which is why I can’t give the app a perfect rating.
  • Ads to watch highlights

When I click to watch a video of a single shot but am subjected to a 15-30 second ad before I can see the shot, you’ve lost the plot.

You were able to spend 9 figures on your Frisco complex…don’t try to pay for it through providing a horrible ad loaded app experience.
Be better than the PGA Tour’s media rights

  • Can’t search tee times

New complaint: I want to know when my favorite golfers are teeing off before the championships start. In order to do that, I need to manually scroll every tee time until I see my golfer, and I can’t favorite them in any way. Please include a search bar that filters like every other app in the world has with a long list.

Previous complaint:The shot trackers on the app is ahead of the score? I often see when I click on a players name to expand their scorecard that their scorecard has a score but the players score on the leaderboard isn’t updated? Why aren’t these in sync?

  • Good, not great

If you are a casual golf enthusiast like I am, you download major tournament apps the week of the event (t.ex: The Masters, PGA Championship, The Open). Not intimately familiar with the courses, I rely on the apps to show me the lay of the land.
The Masters excels at this. The flyover provided by The Masters allows me to see the hazards and possible risks of each hole. In the PGA Championship app we are afforded a 15-30 video that is not customizable. That is to say, if I want to drill down to the undulations of the greens, I cannot. Additionally, mind-jarring music accompanies these video bits. I would advise turning down your volume…

I enjoyed following my favorite golfers in The Masters. I was kept abreast with scores and exciting moments in real time. I do not see the same robust production of the golfers stories in this iteration of the PGA app.

Complaints aside, the PGA app is absolutely a must download if you care about golf-even if you watch golf as casually as I do.

  • So many ads

I get ads are a way to generate income but it’s an obnoxious amount on the this app. Also, the people in charge of developing and approving the app need to check out the Masters app - way easier to use and better formatting, live feeds, and building your own groups to watch, AND a live feed.
  • #4 of 4

I download the apps for all four majors each year (and then usually delete them after the tournament and download them again the following year). This one is easily at the bottom. Clunky navigation and no streaming links.
  • Shouldn’t exist

There is really no reason for this app. Live video is handled by ESPN app, so it’s just a leaderboard. And that is programmed very poorly. Too many ads, shot tracker is clumsy, no pin locations on green. Doesn’t refresh automatically, ever, and doesn’t refresh when “pulled down” like every other app. Instead you have to find the refresh button.

Just let the PGA Tour app handle things - except as usual, their leaderboard is delayed 15 minutes - forcing people to download this app.

I wish Seth Waugh liked the fans as much as he likes himself. This app exists solely to serve ads.

  • No live video of the action? Then what’s the point?

PGA Championship, the supposed premier event of the association has shown its stripes - money, more money and only money. They sold out to ESPN so most won’t be able to see the tournament on TV this week and this ridiculous excuse for an app doesn’t even have limited live video like every other major’s app does. DELETE.

  • Very poor compared to apps for other majors

This app is a very poor excuse for an app representing a major golf championship. The apps for the other three majors are far superior. As just one example of what is lacking with this app, nowhere can you find when and/or where tv and streaming video coverage can be found. Very disappointing.
