Reviews of balance

  • No report will generate and no interconnectivity

I have had balance for the free trial period. 4 out of 7 days I tried to generate the health report. I tried many times during those days, I tried it before I added data to my journal. I tried after documenting my journal. I took the menopause assessment multiple times and each time it couldn't assess my menopause, not really sure how that is possible if I am answering the questions. The journaling is asking for information that I am tracking in other apps and I have to duplicate my efforts in documenting. Please develop the interconnectivity to pull the data. For example: LMP can come from Garmin health and/or Apple health. Sleep can come from garmin and/or Apple health. Nutrition can come from MyFitnessPal, garmin, Apple health.
Night sweats, hot flashes, BP, symptoms, contraception, sexual activity, and other documentation items can come from Apple health. What would be amazing is if you could take this data, compile it into an actual calendar and then let us see what is trending for what is the perimenopause, menopause, and post menopause situation that we are potentially dealing with. Also, it would be great if the report would generate. Apple health does not easily identify what does and does not matter to me in a calendar view. It chooses how to show the data, so I am having to work extra hard to try to find trends. How do I know if some of my symptoms happen in a particular pattern almost like a domino effect? I don’t because there isn’t that kind of calendar. Please look at this like a period app calendar that is for the 2nd half of a woman’s life and make this more.

The Balance App is a great women’s health centered app. It includes a lot of information about female hormones changes, but also data about women’s experiences with BHRT. There’s is lifestyle supoort as well. I could not be without the symptoms teacker or period log- they make me feel every day like what I am going through is normal and there is a hopeful future ahead still. I would suggest this App for women at any age going through hormone changes and who even just want to learn about it.

  • Not free

As usual with Apple apps u go through a long list of questions to have a tailored acct only to find out there’s a ridiculously high membership fee for the app. Thanks. I don’t mind paying a fee WHEN ITS UNDERSTOOD FROM THE BEGINNING. And I have no problem paying a reasonable fee. Say $10/yr. Not $50/yr!!!
