Money ruined the app
Previously I would say Wuxiaworld was the best reading app for web novels, especially with their monopoly on big name novels.
However since they started introducing as many ways to make you pay for nothing new, the apps started going downhill.
Keys, karma, subscriptions and championing - add nothing to your experience but cost real world money.
Subscriptions. Not worth it. Unless you get diamond, but £20 per month for 2/3 books and you can find newer chapters on other sites.
Just cancelled my VIP account because Support is useless. App is constantly buggy.

Probably one of the only good apps for reading
1. It’s official translation meaning you don’t have to worry about the series suddenly stopping
2. Despite the fact that binge reading a new series is harder then it used to be it’s not bad, staying caught up on a small number of series is incredibly simple
3. It looks nice, some reading apps i have tried are filled with bad design decisions and terrible ui but this is a balance between modern and simple
4. The lack of pop up ads, video ads and trying to force you to spend money is nice
Overall this app is the perfect balance for people that want to read Korean and Chinese novels without the pain that comes with some official or unofficial translation sites and apps

A bit more to do but close to perfect
The app is almost perfect. I used to read using the browser on my phone and I would have like 20 tabs open. Now I can get updates for all my favourite novels. I try to recommend this to almost all my friends. I hope the quality translations continue because this is the peak of my day whenever I see a new chapter or I find a new novel to read.

Ridiculous update
Cultivation keys? Karma thrown out the window? Leaving comments, you know, interacting with the community, doesn’t increase your karma anymore? You have to read NEW chapters to key “keys”? And yet unlocking chapters requires karma, which doesn’t seem to increase; I took a screenshot of before and after commenting and nada… nothing. What if some people, like myself, are only interested in a couple of novels? Are we punish for not reading more novels by not being able to “read 10 new chapters “ to get 4 “keys”? Always going back ways, eh Wuxiaworld, and never forwards. 😂🙂↔️. You’ve seen the mass of low quality novels your site has been signing off on, and how some are so badly translated (e.g The Sovereign’s Ascension is the most egregious of them all), and you want people to read more when the quality is getting worse? Now when we spend Karma, we permanently lose Karma, as we can’t earn it by commenting. Does that make sense?

I wish they gave more free ones out. But the amount they give out makes books actually readable. Thankful for those.

annoying bug
(edit: i found out the problem, the voice i use, alloy:ai enhanced, is broken, it doubles the length of each chapter, so it won’t go to the next chapter until the whole 24mins is over) love the app, but there is an annoying bug when i’m listening to chapter, it used to auto play the next chapter, but now it doesn’t, and when the chapter is over it says that it’s still got another 13 mins left, even though it’s over, please fix this

A sad time for Wuxiaworld
This used to be my favourite app by far. I have loved using Wuxiaworld for years and have been paying a subscription the entire time to help support them.
However, since the takeover from this new company, all that is left is a money grubbing shell.

Stopped working
Had been happily using the app for a while. Stopped working the other day, wouldn’t open at all. Deleted it and now it won’t even download again

Please fix AI auto next chapter
I am a user of this app and typically use ai to read a majority of my books this is a great app but lately the auto next chapter hasn’t been working leading me to have to flip from chapter to chapter manually I work 25/8 so typically I don’t have time to continuously run back and forth from my phone besides this issue I have none with the app great for creative readers and open minded people

This bug should have been fixed by version 2.2.0, but if you're still experiencing it, please open a support ticket (https://wuxiaworld.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/) and tell us which novel and chapter it is occurring on. A screen recording would be very helpful too.
