Please fix the music player issue.

I have saved several songs in Amberx , and they can be played in my mobile . The problem is if the mob screen gets locked, it’s not going to the next song. I hope the team will soon fix the issue . Right now I need to turn off my mobile screen lock when I am listening to music.

Suggested: the software should detect the common media file extension and open the media player. It will be great if it can show the image tagged to the music like Apple Music.

Listening to songs is a pain

Great to have for storage

But it’s hard to scan through your photos. So many folders inside of folders. I would rather have them all in one single folder in order that they were downloaded. Maybe one additional folder for private photos. We ended up losing (misplacing?) our amber x during our move. Would like to know if there is anything we can do about it besides buy another one.

Do not see a need for the app

I don’t use this to back up my photos and I couldn’t use the app to set up my device, it kept giving me an error message. The device itself is good just the app needs work.

Privacy Last

When I bought an Amber I thought I had finally found a product/company that was genuinely private and wasn’t just marketing hype. Sadly this is just another “privacy first” sham. Sure the app says they don’t collect data, but when it comes to the physical Amber unit and your cloud based data go read the company’s privacy policy and watch your hopes for true privacy fade away just like all the money you just spent on purchasing it. I had high hopes for this one, but buyer beware the marketing hype.

We only collect the email addresses connected to your AmberCloud account and keep track of which Amber X are activated for support purposes. No personal information such as name, address, phone number, etc. will be collected. All the data that is stored on your Amber X can only be seen by you and with whomever you decide to share the data with.

Updating app cause slow upload speed

I connected with cable and the speed is very slow after I updated the app. It was fast and convenient but now it is not efficient and helpful.

FINALLY RESOLVED!!!

So happy they finally made a landscape mode for the iPad. It took enough users to complain for Amber to finally listen but they resolved it, so I’m a happy consumer!!

Next thing they need to do is add more playback functions when watching videos. Keep up the great work team amber!!!

Uses huge system data space

My iPhone 12 max never had system data / space issues until I started using amberx I cloud app on it. Same problem with iPad as well.
Everytime I run into this issue I have to uninstall this app to clear system data.

Not intuitive at all

This app is nowhere near as intuitive as they lead people to believe. In the app I can look at pics from the device I’m using, but have to hunt for pics from other devices, of my own with my ID. I cannot find the videos I’ve uploaded from my pc. Thus I cannot play them anywhere other than my pc. Nor have I been able to figure out how it is supposed to be consolidating or organizing my photos across devices. They do updates to the software, but they seriously need a redesign to make it more intuitive. In this day and age, it should not be so vexing.

No complaints. Keep on improving the UI and attract more customers to grow the app
