Reviews of Lo

  • Great range of tone.

I wanted to give this app a low score at first because it wasn’t what I had expected - a vintage sounding electric piano. This instrument is noisy with tape machine textures. Spending a little time with any of the effects knobs though, and you’ll find that it’s also capable of a wide range of tones that are rich and easily sonically malleable. It is its own thing and I think it sounds good. The other app by this developer is also of a similar quality and worth checking out.
  • Decent piano (but not for Drambo)

The app itself is good, and the developer is super responsive and helpful. The auv3 works well in Cubasis. I personally can’t use the most important features as the auv3 doesn’t load the MIDI/piano choices in Drambo. I also am not a huge fan of the sound but it’s well done for what it is. With that said, I’d go with something else if your a Drambo user. (I would give this a 5 if the auv3 was updated for Drambo.)
  • Hidden gem

This piano is super flexible, thanks to the included effects t the filter. Everything from a rich Lo-Fi piano sound to haunting pads and ambient drones is possible, so this is definitely getting used a lot over here! Thanks!
