  • I hate when games do this

This whole thing is a scam it lets you play half of it and asks you do buy it

    Developer Response

Hello. We always mention that there are in-app purchases in the game. Also, there’s a demo period to let the players decide whether they want to buy the game. Sorry for this inconvenience. We’ll try to fix this in the future releases.

  • Fairy Godmother Stories: Cinderella by LynxMinx

Note to Moxie Ruby: thank you for your beautiful words and your appreciation of my and Catalina’s efforts to get these games to you. If there are more issues, please update your review. My emails to Domini go straight to the top! They tend to update issues quickly, but at this point we shouldn’t have issues at all!

Well, I must say it was refreshing not to play a Domini game with a storyline that revolved around an evil entity stealing souls in exchange for immortality.
The storyline in this game was a very modern twist on Cinderella, who was portrayed as a gold digger. It was an enjoyable plot twist, and in the bonus chapter the tale of Red Riding Hood received an ironic twist as well. Collectibles included morphing household items, shoes and tokens to decorate a potion shop. The graphics were decent; there were no annoying pervasive colors. Once the initial update was issued, I found the quality assurance to be quite good. The only technical issues were that the complex items were slow to combine and there was a slight lack of responsiveness when attempting to use inventory items on occasion. This game flowed very well and was enjoyable to play, but it did lack innovative elements. I am tired of removing rust, digging in dirt, sweeping up leaves and cobwebs, etc. and I would like to see more novel inventory usage. The HO scenes had a nice variety. The mini-games were mostly rotational and simplistic. We need a more novel variety of puzzles: mazes, labyrinths, painting, cracking codes, and not only rotational types! Inclusive of the bonus adventure, the game was a bit brief but not overly so. Still, I really enjoyed the game and my actual rating will be 4.5 stars.
UPDATE: Remember, on Thursday a sequel to Family Mysteries will be distributed by Artifex Mundi. I dread telling you the rest, but you have a right to know. As of this moment, the release of any EIPIX games has been moved to June. This was not what was promised to us! 😡 In any event, I’ll keep you all posted. If you are unhappy about this turn of events, please feel free to write to Oleg. In the meantime, happy gaming to all, and stay home and safe!

now on just wait for at least 6 months before buying
to make sure all problems will be fixed or maybe
just not buy any of your games I hate wasting my
    money.

  • Pass Time

This one was good for passing time, but Not much game play & if there was, hard level did not exist & I just found it kind of boring, but that’s just me. I do enjoy Domini games & will continue to support & really do appreciate the developers. Thank you & stay safe.

  • The Glass Slipper Doesn't Exactly Fit Into The Storyline!

To me, this storyline is peculiar, with a twist or two along the way—the first being the deceptive title. The title of this game brings to mind a clear perception of a fantasy-based theme. However, most of the time, I felt like I was partaking in solving a detective-like mystery rather than setting out on a fantastical adventure. You play Fairy Godmother, and you are falsely accused of robbing some banks; guess what evidence was found connecting you to the robberies? No, it can't be Cinderella's glass slipper!

The settings are well detailed; and the omnipresent background animations spring to life upon touch, providing an immersive consciousness. The graphics are colorful and clear.

The adventure portion of gameplay seems straightforward. But, as always, the developer never fails to satisfy my craving for creatively executed hidden-object scenes. The formats are varied, with puzzle-like interactions. The puzzles offer a range of challenge that should please most players: from "easy to solve" to "have to work them out a bit." You can set the difficulty for the puzzles on either an easier or a harder mode, a feature that shows the consideration the developer has for players. My favorite puzzle is the one in which I have to become an escape artist by sneaking out of the police station while evading the cops. Another puzzle that caught my attention happens to be an "old-timer"—the one in which you arrange tiles near the fountain, composed of various shapes and sizes, making sure the same colors do not abut each other.

As far as glitches go, the only thing I could detect were occasional touch sensitivities, especially with the delay in assembling inventory items. However, this issue did not hinder progression. I had no trouble unlocking the game before any updates, as some reviewers did experience.

A small gripe is that the collectibles were not as fun as they usually are; I miss the textual descriptions that normally accompany at least one of the sets. Overall, in my opinion, although this isn't one of this developer's best games, I still enjoyed it.
