  • A bit rude

This app has good games. Its a bit touchy with having to be right on the dot. Especially for being geared towards children who’s motor skills may not be the greatest. But the worst of it, the voice sounds like she could make a long list of things she would rather be doing other than teaching kids the time. Could they not have had a kinder sounding person. Someone who sounds like they actually like kids and what they’re doing? Guess not. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Is it possible to reach out to me by sending a mail to frederik@the-nerd.be with maybe a video of what exactly is going wrong? Because this sounds like something is not right (but I can’t reproduce it here on my device) as the voices sound as they should! I will also have a look to give the position of the arm a bit more flexibility, thank you for that suggestions. Kind regards, Frederik
  • Would be better if did not have to pay

Hi, The first 2 levels (learn to read per hour & per half an hour) are completely free and can be played as much as you want without any limits. However if you want exercises to read the clock per 15, 10, 5 or per minute, there is a one-time purchase (updates are free forever). The reasoning behind this is that the child (and you as a parent) can test the app extensively with the first two levels and see if you like it. I'm not a huge profit-seeking company, but just a solo developer trying to create a fun application for children. Finding the right balance between what can be delivered for free, and what requires a one-time payment (which is less than the price of a coffee) is always tricky, but I think this is a fair balance! If you have any more questions or remarks, feel free to reach out via frederik@the-nerd.be Kind regards, Frederik

Dear Gazamat, If your phone language is set to Dutch, English, French, German or Italian the app is completely translated, if you are using a different language on your phone it will fallback to English. Kind regards, Frederik

Hi, I’m sorry to hear this. Clockwise is a game to learn to read the clock, so yes you’ll have to give the right answers to progress in the game.
