Version 1.3.2 I meticulously went through every current Apple device to ensure the layout was correct in the simulator software, and then I promptly forgot to delete the word "simulator" in the deployed version of the app that checks for the user's device size. Doh! This has been corrected so now each screen layout displays as it was designed for a particular device. Version 3.0.1 Caught a last-minute bug that required the user to create a vehicle record before the background color could be changed. Fixed now! Version 3.0 Small updates to the user interface to ensure compatibility with the current iPhone line up. Added the ability to change the background color of all screens.

Added the ability to export vehicles. Added to the Oil Service record a field with the next suggested oil change that defaults to current mileage + 3000 miles. The user has the ability to change this default to 3000, 5000, or 7500. Service Records now sort the latest added to the top of the list. Several small interface adjustments.

Fixed a 'show-stopper' on the display notes screen. This has been fixed, notes properly show all of the content now. Fixed several buttons that did not take into account Dark Settings. Corrected a bunch of typos. Coding is hard for a dyslexic! :) Finally, I added the ability to delete a vehicle and all its associated services records and service notes.

Description of Garage Record

The design of this record-keeping app is modular. Most times, when I go to the shop to get one of my vehicles serviced, I cannot afford the long laundry list of service suggestions, so I pick and choose and schedule others for a later service. This modularity of record-keeping is the idea behind this app. Create a vehicle record by tapping “Add Vehicle”. You can change the icon now by tapping the icon button at the top of the screen, or later by swiping right on the vehicle record. Tap on the vehicle record row in the main home screen, which takes you to the “Service Records” screen, and choose the service component by tapping on one of the blue buttons for the service record you want to record. Service Records are listed by date, the newest at the top—swipe left on a record to delete the record from the database. At the bottom of the Service Record screen, the large blue button, “Service Notes”, which takes you to the “Service Notes” screen. Here you will find a list of the service notes for this particular vehicle, the latest notes are at the top of the list—swipe left on a note to delete a note from the database. Privacy information, Export Records and Notes, and the ability to delete all data and reset the app can be found in the settings menu by tapping on the “hamburger” icon or swiping right on the main, Home screen.
