Calf Raise User Reviews

Cool idea, but crashes

App is a great idea for testing, treating and retesting but crashes regardless if I take the video in the app or import a video

Very handy app!

Fantastic app, easy to use for clinician and patient alike, with some very useful data!

Great potential but some issues

As a Physio I love this app as a tool to give me more info regarding calf capacity and it’s a fun outcome measure.

However, I find the app glitchy (crashed on me) and not exactly user friendly when making profiles for different patients.

I have only tried recording within the app rather than submitting a video from my files. However, recording within the app is time consuming to get the final analysis I’m looking for when I have the patient in front of me. I wish this app was a bit more user friendly since it has great potential.

Response from developer

Good to hear you are enjoying it😊 The app has been intensively tested in various iOS devices and is very stable if used how it was intended. It is recommended to record from the app as you’ve been doing. Person starts and ends in video? Marker visible? Get in touch via email or twitter if you are still having issues so we can solve it 👌 you can also let us know how you would set up the client management as we think relatively straight forward. Your thoughts welcome 🙏

Keeps crashing

Seems like it could be a great tech tool for Physio’s, but kept crashing 👎🏻

Response from developer

How are you using it? It should not be crashing. Get in touch and we will solve it 👍

Would not recommend

Not very good. The apps keeps crashing and you need to edit the video all the time in order for software to properly track the movement of the foot. And when it cannot track, the app just shuts down. Bottom line, the app needs more work

Response from developer

The app is lightweight and works without crashing when used appropriately. Please import / take videos in normal motion (not slomo) and make sure the heel is in the screen with a round marker when starting and finishing. 👍
