1. The map updates automatically as per user navigation. The blue-dot would always be centred and visible on the map during navigation.
2. Serving the purpose of implementation testing and performance tuning, we now have the ability to add a logging ability to the app. ‘Enabling logging’ tracks and sends blue-dot path logs to the cloud server. Users can enable logging under the app settings. The logging is enabled only when On-Device Positioning is turned on. Once the user collects logs they can send it to our cloud server by clicking on 'Upload Logs' button

In this version of Inpixon’s Reference App, Inpixon introduces a new On-Device Positioning feature. On-device positioning is a type of indoor positioning system that enables a smartphone’s precise location to be displayed to a user in a mobile app. Specialized algorithms and on-device technology enable sensor fusion by combining data from various sensors to position the blue dot and correct drift.
On-Device Positioning provides live indoor location represented as a blue dot on the map. The implementation of On-Device Positioning uses the device's GPS to place the blue-dot initially. It then improves the location accuracy using Bluetooth beacons placed around the facility.
