The app I have been waiting for!
This is the app I have been searching for ever since we bought our children iPads. We had no idea what kind of struggle we would be facing. Screen Coach is helping us regain some of the control we thought we had lost.JavaGenki
I really wanted to like it
I thought I had finally found the app I was looking for. Something that can help me manage kids’ screen time while allowing kids to earn time for chores or whatever I designated. And it does all this, but it’s so, so complicated. It was not user friendly at all and I could never quite get the hang of it, so I canceled after a month. To the developer’s credit, they offered to help me 1:1 and helped me cancel easily, but I just needed something more user-friendly. I’ll keep checking back in the hopes it becomes less clunky over time.Show lessDais17

Thanks for your feedback. We have been busily working on the new user interface to make it simpler for all users The next release in a few weeks time will be really simplified for young children. After that. We will commence to work on new parent screens to simplify and considering hiding some features initially to help people who are just starting off We would appreciate your feedback if you want to speak to us to give us your thoughts for the future. I love the Screencoach app. It does have a learning curve, but the tutorials are helpful. The idea of rewarding money and additional screen time time as tasks are completed is amazing. I would like to see the following options. I'll update my review as I think of more suggestions.
1) Widget for the parents and kids to add to home screen to approve and submit completed tasks, and select modes.
2) Differentiate between the parents and child's account. Why is the Parent's account tracked (gems, tokens, usage time, etc.) similiar to the child's account.?
3) Under child's account, add an area to display additional tasks (separate from rewuired routine or tasks) that allows the child to chose from for extra tokens/gems. For example: read 20 mins, ride a bike, etc.Show lessEvphotodva

Managing screen time is very difficult and not all screen Time is bad, we want to reward our kids with the ability to earn extra screen time and at the same time and pocket money.
After looking far and wide at all of the solutions, ScreenCoach is the only one that ticks all of the boxes for us
It also allows us to make quick changes on the go when things change like when the kids are home sick from school for a day
I love that the kids can earn screen time tokens that can be used in the future, So they are learning to save screen time tokens, and learn to save their gems and their pocket money

Helps me manage my screen time and pocket money
As a teenager, I found screen coach very helpful to make me stick to the time schedules before school and before bedtime it also gets me to do the things that I would forget to do because I’m on my screens. it has also been great to help manage my pocket money income and expenses with my familyLexi.555
Best app ever
I have playing around with apps to help with the kids screen time.
It’s very detailed but they offer heaps of support both live and videos / faqs. Also the first month is only $1 usd. Most apps give you 7 days for free which is not long enough to evaluate. I suggest giving it a try.Mamato3monkeys

The total change in behaviour of my 9 yr old son who has ASD and PDA has been nothing short of astounding since I introduced ScreenCoach.
The fact it encourages and rewards good behaviour is a game changer. I set it for 0 free time each day - he therefore has to earn his screen time by doing jobs, school work and even taking time away from the screen.
I only give him a daily limit of 3 hours but if his misbehaves I can turn off all of his devices instantly. He used to only be allowed 1 hr per day on devices but I allow him a bonus 2 hours to reward his hard work and to also allow him to choose if he wants to bank his tokens or use them.
I no longer need to nag and he can’t argue about not wanting to do what I asked as at the end of the day, if he wants screen time, he needs to earn it and as soon as his time runs out he can’t argue when his “computer says “No”” 🎉 🎉 🎉😂😂😂
If you have kids who have some behavioural issues or even ones who spend too much time on devices or you can’t get them to do what you want/need them to do and in a timely manner, then I can’t recommend this app highly enough.

I have spent a lot of time researching various ways to control my kids time spent on iPad, and hands-down. This is the best solution out there the system works beautifully, and my kids adapted almost instantly. They are now eager to do chores around the house as it earns them iPad time! Life changing in our house!
This has been a game changer for us as a solution for screen time management! It rewards my girls for doing fun activities away from screens, get some exercise in each day, helps them form good habits and gets them more motivated to help with chores. Best of all it’s easy for me! I don’t have to nag them or threaten to turn the wifi off in the house. I also love that it restricts their devices at a certain time of night without me having to go and physically take it off of them. Brilliant!Show lessJennaShea85
