In this update: • the app was already adapting to Dark and Light themes automatically and while the app will continue to do so, we have now added the option to manually select your theme for the app regardless of your system theme; once you manually select a theme, the app will remember your choice; if you change your system theme while the app is running, you might need to restart the app to have the status bar display correctly; • the fuel, capacity and year options for your cars are now dropdowns, making it easier to enter your information (you will need to reselect this information, we are sorry for this); • some car models were changed because they were wrong; if one of your cars is affected by this, you'll need to reselect your model. In this update: • from now on, the Driving companion will record your GPS position when it is turned on so you can view your past trips on a Map! The Map symbol will appear next to your past trip recordings if the GPS history is available; • the app will now check for internet access before performing actions that require a connection; this will prevent things from hanging or appearing blank; • right from the Settings page, you can now access the privacy policy from a single tap of a button. In this update: • the picture that you set for your car will now appear in the PDF which you can generate by pressing on the document icon, next to the registration field when you edit the car; • a brand new travel cost calculator has been added on the Extra services tab, which lets users compute the costs associated with their trips, by only inputting the names of the addresses, the estimated fuel consumption and the cost per unit of fuel; the travel calculator is available for the users who purchased the PRO or PRO+ In-App Purchases. In this update: • important improvements to the dashboard so that it will now update seamlessly after you perform edits or add data to your cars; • improvements to the Notifications tab; as a result of reworking the way the dashboard works after updating the data, we had to also perform improvements to the Notifications tab; this should also fix some issues in which you would see repeating or split notifications, even though they were always scheduled correctly. In this update: • when you first install the app or if you remove all cars, you now see the instructions to add a car right on the dashboard; • the welcome guide that you see when you first install the app is fixed for smaller devices for good now; • the "Back" button has been replaced with "Save" on the page on which you edit the cars; • our customers in Romania now have direct access through the Extra Services tab to national vignette as well as insurance verifications; • other improvements that resulted in a smaller app size. In this update, we have added selectors for the car's make and model, making it easier and faster to input these details (please note that you might have to reselect your make and model in some cases). We have fixed a bug that prevented the direct access links to carVertical from working when no country was selected. Push notifications are now enabled through the use of a new library. • these notifications will be sent, for example, when we release new versions; • the prompt for permission to receive push notifications will be presented to you at a later date, before the server is ready to send the first notification to you; if you already agreed to see notifications for our reminders, you will not see a new prompt; • this same library also allowed us to swap our analytics library introduced in version 1.0.1, giving us more powerful insights into what is most useful to our users and will help us better understand where our app fails when it crashes. Again, we want to emphasize that your data is private and stays on the device. The app will now record data about the fire extinguisher and the medical kit (useful for countries in which they are required by law); as usual, once you save the expiration dates for these, the app will automatically schedule notifications to remind you before they expire. The update also brings new: • If you set a speed warning in the driving companion, the box containing your speed will change colour once you exceed that speed; • The results pages for both the timers and the driving companion have been improved, making it easier to see your results; • The welcome guide (that you see when you first install the app) has been improved so that the bottom part of the guide is fully visible even on devices with small displays; If you like the app, please help us and share it with your family, friends and colleagues, we greatly appreciate it and it helps encourage the development.
