Description of Kinfolk

Now you can bring history to life, in full color with our augmented reality monuments. Use Kinfolk to discover unsung heroes and check out our web portal to take a deeper dive into history. Kinfolk comes preloaded with stories from Black icons. Choose a figure from our menu to bring an augmented reality statue of them right in front of you. You can make them life-size, read their bios, explore their playlists, browse additional resources i.e. books, podcasts and discover hidden gems through our monuments web portal. Our web portal has primary source documents, historical pictures, art, and video for anyone who wants deeper context on our history. Kinfolk is the story of our people. We start with monuments of people that should be common knowledge. That's just the beginning. We are building an archive that tells history from a perspective that you won't find in school. We are using art and technology to rewrite history in a way that resonates with the next generation.

Reviews of Kinfolk

  • Fake made up history 100% garbage.

This app is nothing but complete fake made up history. Events that never happened, people who never existed or just flat out lies. Taking inventors who are white and race swapping them and pretending that blacks did what the actual historical white did. It is the most evil, disgusting mentally insane app that exists on the App Store to date. The developers should be sued. It’s literally fake made up stories and it’s claim of “re writing history” is correct. Making it completely fake made up history stealing the accomplishments of whites and simply claiming it’s blacks because they have no real history to speak of.

    This app should be banned.
  • Made my Booty Hole bleed

I cannot even begin to express how disappointed and horrified I am by my experience with the Kinfolk app. Not only did it make my "booty hole" bleed, but it also gave me nightmares about crawdads.
But what truly takes the cake is the fact that it somehow managed to steal my "no no card." I have no idea how this app could have possibly gained access to such sensitive information, but I am beyond furious.
I strongly advise against downloading the Kinfolk app, unless of course you enjoy pain, bizarre dreams, and having your personal information stolen. Trust me, it's not worth it. 0/10, would not recommend.
  • Educational Inspiring

I love the aesthetics and how the app is styled from colors to voices and music. This is a great idea to teach especially the younger gen who learns through interacting with technology.

I hope this app expands to Civil Rights history throughout the world in places like the Caribbean and Brazil.
