Reviews of Paths of Atlantis

  • It was on my iPhone!

I have never installed this game but I saw its icon on my menu
How it can happen? I even didn’t know this game!
  • A few suggestions...

I found the game through Reddit after it was being offered for free.

A few positives. One, the game play is fairly easily and not that complicated to learn. Two, the game has no ads. Three, the graphics are not bad at all.

A few constructive negatives. Firstly, the game play gets fairly repetitive and I played it for about 15 minutes before I lost interest. If perhaps there was another component, like spending coins to change appearance or even something like build a portion of my castle that would keep interest. The reward of getting the chest each time is not enough to compete against the inevitable boredom that Grundy style games bring you. Secondly, some of the screen sizing was off - when pop up notifications (not failing to compete a level, but leveling up) would show up, the text would be off screen and not visible on my iPhone 7+. Thirdly, there was a bug, or unexplained feature, where my guy was hoping tiles diagonally to get to the treasure that he shouldn’t have been able to do as their was no path to do so.

Thank you for making this game! I think you have a real good base concept here. Add some additional components and fix some bugs and I can see this game climbing the ladder in the App Store. Cheers!
