Alright app

The app is pretty decent with script writing practice. However it’s best to practice if you are going to use this app with a iPhone pen or something that can hold like a real pen against the screen. Otherwise best just find some handouts online and practice on paper to get the movements you need. Remember practice makes perfect.

Excellent Handwriting Practice

I do graphic recording which requires a lot of quick handwriting in a variety of styles. I was looking for a way to practice some clear and neat handwriting and polish up my cursive skills. I was skeptical of signing up for another subscription, but it is updated frequently with new handwriting styles and one of the latest cursive templates has pressure sensitivity so I can work on my letter forms and the weight of the lines.

Doesn’t work

No matter how perfect your letters look, it keeps telling you that you did it wrong. Very discouraging for kids trying to learn. Not worth downloading.

Unnecessary limitations for money

I will use programs like IbisPaint + because you layer your artwork. This means you can have a layer of whatever letters you want, and you can trace over them as many times as you like. This program is for people who seriously don't know how to use technology and want to pay the price for their lack of knowledge

It’s good but missing more practice words

the app is really good, I like it but I wished it had more practice words or that you could import into it a list of word from a csv file or text file. If feel like the practice words just run out too soon. I would not pay the subscription again if it didn’t have this feature. Won’t renew unless it adds more practice words, with different levels of complexity.

Nice put no good for me and really hard 🫤

I have been trying sooooooo long to do the letter "A" and also I don't think this is cursive writing, I think you need I pencil I am not sure but I find this really tricky and for my sister too she gets a little mad👺 when she can't do it 🙄and for me too. And I am getting ready for 5th grade and I need to learn cursive🫤but I am trying my best

Fixing hand writing

I am a 16 year old and I have really bad hand writing.
Upon getting a new iPad I was determined to fix my bad hand writing, Thus I found Writey. I was kinda skeptical about it with the subscription and all, but after doing the free trial, I learned that it is much better than I anticipated. This app allows you to fix your handwriting at your own pace and it will tell you exactly how you should be writing well cute little animation, I have a really enjoyed learning cursive and learning how to fix my handwriting to 10/10!!
