Multiple devices
Really nice app, super helpful. I use it on both my iPhone and iPad when baking. I use the Journal Notes a lot and one issue I’ve noticed is that it is very easy to erase notes add on one device when opening them on a second. For example, I may make some notes on my iPhone but then pickup my iPad later to update them but they get overwritten by whatever is on my iPad.Show lesstomaustin44`
Perfect sourdough companion
This is a great app. It’s thoughtfully designed and you can really tell that its creators bring a lot of passion to the subject matter. I’ve made a few attempts at the sourdough hobby in the past and Rise is making this current go the one that sticks (much like a 80% hydration dough). The simple utility of having dynamic timers and instructions makes such a difference over static recipes. If you’re just getting into sourdough this app is your best friend.
I’m sure the devs have a feature list a mile long but one thing that would be really cool would be a way to share or view “community recipes.” You see this sort of thing on workout apps a bit and I think the possibilities of opening up their system to create a robust library of user or expert generated recipes could be game changing.

Not working
I just purchased yesterday and have yet to receive notification alarms for feeding my starter. I cannot figure out where to request a refund either. So disappointed.Busy88Momma
Doesn't support BBGA formulas
This is a very well designed app, and I think it will be useful for many bakers. However, it's common for serious bread bakers to keep their recipes in BBGA (Bread Bakers Guild of America) style formulas, which is not possible in this app.
If "BBGA style formula" means nothing to you, proceed without worry; you're going to love this app! However, if, like me, you were hoping for a slicker, easier way to manage the BBGA style than a custom spreadsheet, this isn't going to work.Show lessjthile

Perfect app for bread baking
I have been really impressed with this app. It lets me easily adjust quantities and ingredients when baking sourdough bread and it’s timer alerts work across iPhone, iPad & Apple Watch so I never miss a folding time. Great app, but still some glitches
I love this app. As someone who is always distracted, it helps me stay on task with my bread making.
The only issue I have is with the recipe I put in myself. For some reason when I go to bake it, the amounts for my ingredients change slightly. For instance, I wrote the instructions to use 33g of starter, water, and flour for my levain. When I go to bake it with the app, the quantities have changed to 32g, 31g, and 27g. The numbers are always different and no amount of editing makes them stay what I want them to be.
This isn’t such a big deal as I know my recipe by heart and only really use the app for the timing, but it’s still a bit irritating.Show lessBri Honey

Never wrote any reviews for any app before but I’ll have to give you guys 5 stars for such a sleek app! Love it!
The only improvement I could think of is making the edit function a bit more smooth, it takes a few seconds for the app to react whenever I hit edit a recipe and type in my adjustments.Show lessbeasty dough
The very best app for bread
My first review was five stars because of the obvious care that the developers did on creating this app. After the latest update, it deserves another 5 star review. These people know bread and software. I can store favorite recipes and change and adapt as i go for the next bake. The only shortcoming that i can find is you can only run one recipe at a time. I contacted the developers and was told that they are working on a upgrade to this issue. My thanks to someone who understands how to bake and what it takes in time and effort to turn out a successful loaf. (Best thing since sliced bread).Show lessGunermk13
A busy baker’ dream!
I love to bake but don’t have a lot of free time and was finding it difficult to keep track of schedules while multitasking during this day. This app not only allows me to centralize my notes but also reminds me through my phone notifications of key points in the process AND helps me calculate bakers percentages.
