Finally - the to-do app we needed

I’ve been wanting an app like this for years. Bless you Doo <3

Really needs a way to import tasks.

I love the app in concept but it would be great to be able to write out a list of tasks as text and then import them in as individual tasks. Basically I want to be able to do a brain dump and enter in all my tasks from, not tediously enter them in on by one.

Love this app, but a couple suggested improvements

I used the old Doo app for years before upgrading, and I am so glad I did. I’m someone who has a lot of anxiety around looming tasks, and this app helps significantly. I also was happy to repurchase knowing that for $5 (no subscription required!!) I will hopefully get a few more years of my favorite to do app and support an independent developer. I love that I can now switch contexts and view/complete/snooze tasks on my Apple Watch! Overall, I’m a religious user.

However, there are a couple small feature improvements that would make my life much better. First: emoji support!! I love to use the pomodoro method, and on the old app I would just add a 🍅 to keep track of how many I had done/how many I had left to do. Typing the word doesn’t give me that dopamine hit I crave! Second: I would love it if I could type “at two PM today” and similar instead of just “tonight”, “tomorrow”, etc

love the updates

Visually pleasing and a great tool to keep me on top of my busy schedule

Amazing To “Doo” App!

You brought back the “card deck” feature?!?!?! Awesome sauce! That’s what made the original app so calming and rewarding. Well done!

Also, thanks for NOT collecting our data. That is very much appreciated. 🙂

Rubbish

Barely any functionality, not intuitive, clunky and sparse. Basically pointless.

How is this an upgrade?

I’ve spent the last hour trying to remember the things I’ve completed today. I use these task lists because I have to juggle to many things at once. How do I see what I’ve completed? It’s a fairly common feature in all the task lists I’ve used before. I hoped this one, being a one-time purchase, would give me the basics and keep my data private but where are all the basics?

Response from developer

Hi Jpoirx! You can find completed tasks in the list view. This works the same as Doo 2. You can switch between upcoming and completed items using the tab control. Doo 3 creates a space for focus, which means only the complete and snooze buttons appear on the main screen when tasks are due. To show the standard controls for accessing the list and settings, simply tap any part of the colored task area. The idea is similar to a video player. I hope this helps!

Unique list app

A very unique list app. I love the way it lists your tasks/priorities in a more natural way for you to swipe through.

Great update

Used Doo2 for years, glad it’s looking like a modern app now!
