  • had my hopes up

i was really excited to use an app like this because of how it was advertized, but five songs per month in the free version? im very sorry but i wouldnt like to associate with this app if you dont atleast make it reasonable.

Hi there! You can use our app without a subscription, but our Free account is limited; we give you 5 processings up to 5-minute files, renewed every month so that you can process them. With a subscription, you’ll have more instruments available to play with your tracks and other features.
  • Excellent all for learning and practice

First ever review of an app. Super impressed with it. Pros: The most valuable thing for more about this app is the ability to separate parts to hear more clearly. It has several flexible options to superstate the tracks you want to hear or just create whatever custom mix I want to download which is dope. The app can discover the key and BPM with more than fair consistency. Plus you can change the key of the song along with tempo adjustments. With the added ability to cycle/loop a section that you may need to practice is definitely useful. I have to say it does a wonderful job separating drums, vocals and bass guitar.
Cons: I’ve found that sometimes the key signature/center is not always correct especially with modal jazz. I get that can even be hard for a human being so it’s not a deal breaker. The track separation can be better because it may mistake certain lower pitches for a bass guitar or it may clump horns and aux keys and sometimes guitar parts as a nondescript “other” track. It tends to mix up chords sometimes giving a false root although the note it gives maybe be part of the chord it may confuse things at times. Because of all this its only earned a 4 stars rating from me. However, Id easily rate this app 5 stars if some of these nit-picky things were addressed.

  • Another subscription app

Great app but again, another subscription scam. I tried the free version and I was pleased with the results. I paid the 6.99$CAD (monthly) so I can have a better experience. When I tried to export the results, I only had low stems (really low, like the noise gets the better over the music) even if I have a paid version. In order to access HD, I have to subscribe for a 35$CAD monthly payment (or 350$/y. what a deal)

There’s free alternatives app if you only need to isolate one Instrument and practice but otherwise, this is a trap. A plain and simple money grab.

I canceled immediately and I even think about fighting the payment. Wow. A paid version with no benefits other than add more (crappy sounding) songs to the playlist.

So much potential wasted by greed. Again.

  • Amazing

This app is insane. I took a poorly recorded voice memo on my phone of a band practise and just like that removed the drums. All for free
  • OBSESSED

this changed my life, thanks 🥹❤️
  • AMAZING!!

Absolutely love this app I love being apple to screen record songs and then go into gallery to separate the different instruments. If there were more stars I could give I’d definitely give them more.
  • GREAT VOCAL TOOL

I find it really hard to practice tunes for the band I am in because the band has its own quirky way of doing songs that is never quite like the record and also we often change the key of the tune. So You Tube backing tracks aren’t all that helpful. Moises is exactly what I have been needing. I can record our tunes the way we do them. Load them into Moises and then do my vocal practice and fine tuning against my band’s way of do the tune. Really takes the pressure off!

  • Overall, pretty good

I’m a bassist and use Moises to a) isolate bass lines so that I can better hear, then learn them and b) remove the original bass line so that I can record covers.

For these purposes, and providing you use a decent quality MP3 as source, it generally works pretty well. The main types of song I have had problems with are live recordings, where the isolated tracks can end up a bit muffled and ‘weak’. It also has problems were the bass line is played higher up the neck, flirting with the area one might expect to find a guitar - but I guess this is understandable.

  • Great app to seperate tracks

    Highly recommend
  • Awful, Frustrating App

This app is a huge fail. I have a large Apple Music/iTunes library and of the thousands of songs, only three show up as available to transfer to Moises. I've given this app over 24 hours to sync up, and even though my iOS version and this app's latest version are up-to-date, it still doesn't work. The ironic thing is that I have to wait another 24 hours until the payment is processed before I can even request a refund. I wish iTunes would eliminate junk like this from the store so that people don't have to waste their time. Lastly, I went to the homepage of the developer's website and that was requiring me to sign in with one of my email identities to even put in a troubleshooting ticket. If a company cannot make a stable app, why would I trust it with my login credentials?
Update, the developer contacted me. To be clear, I am only trying to use Moises with songs I have purchased from iTunes. I am not trying to use Moises with Apple Music streaming or the subscription service. Moises is still not recognizing songs I have purchased. I appreciate that they reached out and genuinely want to try to solve these kinds of problems. But again I am spending a lot of time trying to make something work so this is not a fit.

Hello! Thank you for contacting us. The iTunes App can be a little tricky sometimes, and depending on how iTunes stores the files, it may take some more time to gather it all. Please make sure you have purchased the songs from iTunes and are not using Apple Music. Moises cannot process songs from streaming services. For a more in-depth look into this, I encourage you to get in touch with our support team at https://help.moises.ai - they will assist in troubleshooting the syncing and make sure you're taken care of regarding the payment and refund process. Your satisfaction and data security are our top priorities.
