The Omega Passive IR Program is an interface App to Diamond Traffic Products "Omega Passive IR Vehicle, Bicycle, and Pedestrian Traffic Counter". You can easily set up the camera, adjust zones, and Start/Stop collecting for both video and traffic count data using your phone, tablet, or other device in the field. This is especially useful during field setup of the camera system. The App allows you to connect to a camera operating either as a standalone WiFi server or when the camera is linked to an existing WiFi network and has a unique IP address assignment. Once connected, you have full control over the camera including several different modes for viewing traffic data as it passes. When starting collection you can enter in a Site ID, Info Lines, and other relevant information. In addition, if you allow the App to access your current location, it can automatically fill in the current GPS coordinates inside the camera data file when collection is started. Also supported is downloading any collected video files and playing them back. Multiple options to control the IR zones, direction, Site ID, and other info can be configured post download. The Omega Passive IR App is intended to be used in combination with Diamond's Centurion Software system for traffic count post processing and report generation.
