Don’t even bother.
They’re just trying to sell you the subscription.

This is not free. Be honest or get out. 1 star.
It’s a scam
It’s a scam to try to get $50 from you .
The app is barely functional and that’s giving it too much credit.

Walk away
The worst “Freemium” I have ever seen. Download it for free, and it is just 3 pages of advertising saying what it can do, but it does nothing unless you agree to a $60/year subscription. Isn’t that what the App Store pages is for? I kept it just long enough to write this review. Not worth the bandwidth of downloading it.

Junk
Don’t waste your time on this app. It serves no purpose.
Subscription required
So I downloaded the app to see how well it does with the new iPhone 12 pro Max LiDAR. When I get through the first few screens the last screen says “Free to use” but in order to use the app you need to subscribe for a “free trial” for $59.99 a year.
*Cannot use unless subscribing $60 a year.

Payment Fraud!
Don't download it!This app will automaticly charge you $64.79 without even asking! I don’t know where to report this issue.
Misleading auto subscription after 7 days
After 7 days I was charged $109 for an annual subscription for this app. Subscription for $8.99 per week is their only other subscription option.
In response to the one other, bad review
I think the app has some awesome features and the possibilities with the new Lidar sensor seem endless.
I particularly enjoyed the 3rd person perspective which could be a very interesting feature to progress further.
Now, onto the subscription side, a 7 day trial I think is very generous given that you have full access to the app, however I don’t think it’s a sustainable business practise, especially for customer retention. No one is going to be happy when they forget to cancel a £58!!! subscription after 7 days.
There is actually a pay monthly option but obviously that doesn’t give you the free trial period. My advice is to cancel the trial instantly which gives you a 7 day period to try the app without worrying that you’ll be overcharged if you forget.
This is a very interesting app nonetheless. It’s a shame the developers have taken a page out of EA’s book.

Can’t even try without a purchase
I know you get a free trial, but you have to make the purchase before you can try and hope to remember to cancel if you don’t.
